Dr. Romi Bhasin, MD

I always receive great care from his office. he has managed to get my numbers under control for my diabetes conditions are stable and I highly recommend him

Dr. Bhasin was lovely. He helped put a great care plan together, took his time and was extremely patient with my many, many questions. I am grateful to have him on my care team!!

This was my first visit to an endocrinologist and I was a little nervous as I didn’t know what to expect. I waited an hour to see the doctor, so that was not a good first impression. When he entered the exam room he didnt shake my hand or apologize for the wait. Then his demeanor was very dry and cold. He asked minimal questions and didnt make eye contact. He didnt attempt to get to know me for a couple minutes as I would hope for in a first appointment. I felt as if he was in a hurry. He almost came off as critical and I felt like a child in the principal's office. My next appointment is with the CNP. If I have the same experience with her, I will not return to this office.

I went for a second opinion. He wouldn’t look me in my eye, didn’t answer any questions or provide any guidance, he didn’t perform any independent analysis or differential diagnosis. Even though I’m at my deductible, I have still called my insurance and instructed them not to pay for this appointment.

I think there is no one better than Dr. Bhasin. He is in Level 3 treatment and knows what all the tests mean, which tests to order, and also whether I should be concerned or not. I feel safe under his care.

Thoroughly discussed problem and ways to help my condition

The doctor is very thorough. He went over everything. I even had tests for my first visit. I felt as though I was cared for professionally and respectfully. I appreciate the time and care.

Dr Bhasin answered my concerns and asserted his opinion and suggestions for my case and my concerns regarding side effects of medications. He took his time and I did not feel rushed. If necessary I would see him again and recommend him if someone asked.

Dr. BHASIN provided guidance and used his expert knowledge to help me lower my A1c and improve my other numbers. He has developed a plan to wean me off insulin. I feel like we worked as a team to reach my goals.

This was my first Visit. Dr. Bhasin answered all my questions and gave me a lot of information. He took his time and I did not feel he was in a hurry.

I have been a long tim patient of Dr Bhasin. He is one of the most sensible and knowledgeable doctor. I trust him thoroughly. He has my diabetes under control using the least amount of meds necessary. Best specialist I deal with.

The tel visit that I had with Dr. Bhasin was very easy, he made me feel very comfortable and the information he gave me was very very important to me ,he has stayed on top of all my problems since 2009, and I totally trust his decisions

Dr. Romi Bhasin is very friendly and professional. He takes the time necessary to explain and answer any question and encourage patient to exercise and be on a good diet. I recommend him to anyone looking for an Endocrinologist.

Dr. Basin was hard to understand, especially wearing a mask. It is very obvious that I wear hearing aids and I had to ask him to repeat himself. Once he was rude with his inflection of voice when repeating. Also, he prescribed Levemir and did NOT prescribe the accompanying needles. I was referred to him by PCP. Not very satisfied.

My wife was originally referred to Dr Bhasin for thyroid issues. After several visits and a couple biopsies, we left to go to someone else. He didn't communicate well, didn't answer questions well, and the biopsies were really painful. We went to another doctor who answered the questions really well and the biopsies were a breeze compared to the experience with Bhasin. That second doctor retired. I see a specialist in the same practice as Dr Bhasin who is fantastic. We wanted my wife to see my doctor there, but Columbus Endocrinology won't allow my wife to see anyone but Bhasin, her previous doctor she hasn't seen for years. Frustrating. No way to appeal it. It is a frustrating rule to protect doctors who don't communicate and care well.

My primary Dr. referred me to Dr. Bhasin. I found him to be rude, in a hurry and not interested in what I had to say about my condition. Even though his English may be adequate he has a heavy accent which made it impossible to understand a word he said. But because my PCD referred me to Dr. Bhasin I will give him one more try (and only one). There are many good doctors around Columbus so we do not have to tolerate one like Dr. Bhasin. I will see what happens next. Hopefully a better experience.

Dr Bhasin gave clear, thorough explanations. He was a good listener and he took thorough notes.

I had a good experience - Dr. Bhasin presents facts, uses data, has a plan for getting results. Good staff too!
