Dr. Rome Walter, DO

Finally a doctor who really takes the time to listen and care. Dr Rome was attentive, he didnt just want to prescribe meds, he also recommended a healthy routine. Overall great doc!

Compassionate care and he LISTENS! I saw a revie where the patient complained that Dr Rome insisted on visits during Covid- so many doctors insisted in Zoom calls I was thrilled Dr Rome saw me TWICE during a health crises I was having. He has been the best doc I have ever had. Do yourself a favor if you seek quality care, empathetic doctoring, and a great diagnostician and see Dr Rome Walter.

I'm an old guy and have had lots of doctors. I moved to Murrieta a couple of years ago and have been looking around for a great doctor since I got here. I've found him. Dr. Walter is smart, thoughtful, kind and patient. He listens carefully and responds thoughtfully and respectfully. He clearly cares alot about his patients. He is a great doctor and I feel lucky to have found him.

I insist on having more of a say in how my healthcare is provided. Dr. Walter wasted my money with useless office visits. He continued to insist on these visits through the worst parts of COVID. I finally found a better doctor who respects my wishes.

Very thorough and professional and knowledgeable.

I chose Dr. Walter due to his high ratings and great reviews. However, don't let that fool you. I am younger and I have a lot of genetic health problems. I have had many tests and done many procedures. I know a lot about my health and my body. I let Dr. Walter know all of this and apparently he assumed I didn't know anything. At least that is how it felt. He would try and describe things in a way I can only say to a 5 year old. I let him know I know a lot about my health, my body, and I am very educated when it comes to the surrounding conditions or tests, etc. It felt like he didn't listen to my concerns and kept saying "You're too young for that test or that condition. That is how people die because doctors just say "Ah you're too young". I am already looking for a new doctor after 2 visits. Since my concerns of my health have only worsened and he won't treat me because "I'm too young". I also have asthma and he never checked my lungs even during my physical. I saw him twice in total

Love Dr. Walter but not so much his office. They don't follow through on lab orders or prescription orders. Makes it a big waste of my time when I have to chase them down. When I was able to get through on the phone the person I talked to didn't even say good bye she just hung up the phone. Think I will be looking elsewhere.

I was in for a post OP heart issue Dr Walter was very personal & very knowledgeable regarding this particular situation. I was very impressed, he also encouraged me to see my cardiologist sooner than my appt in 10 days. Few days later met with cardiologist who confirmed the exact complex procedure needed and set a surgical procedure in 5 days. (3 days now). Thank you Dr Walter !

Dr Rome listens well to my issues and opinions. He understands my reluctance to take medications and always offers more holistic and natural methods for relief. Typically he is very friendly and empathetic.

High blood pressure crisis, & after taking all info came up with great medication to help. Very pleased.

At last! A doctor who cares about the whole person, including nutrition. Excellent!

Great visit. He is not so quick to just prescribe medication Tries to find the root cause of your problem.

He was very helpful about my situation liked he’s recommendations so I just talked to him for the first time and I trust his judgment so far I would like for him to be my regular doctor

Dr. Rome Walter is fantastic!!! He takes the time to listen, looks you in the eyes, he's patient when you are talking, he cares, and he's compassionate. We had a special situation with a homeless Uncle and Dr. Rome literally saved this mans life. We had a lot of issues to work through and had several doctor appointments and Dr. Rome was so professional, kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. He has truly made a significant difference in my Uncle's life, saved his life! We are forever grateful for Dr. Rome and his commitment to patients, even brand new ones! I have an autoimmune disease and was very complicated but doctor Walter did not give up on me. He is a fantastic primary care doctor.
