Dr Bish missed a diagnosis of strangulated hernia in my brother at the ER. He treated him for GERD and constipation even though his abdominal pain level was off the scale. He was vomiting and had diarrhea - signs of a serious blockage. Prior scans on his record from a hospital stay the week before showed a hernia and an obstruction. Dr. Bish sent him home from the ER telling him that this was NOT LIFE THREATENING - that quote is in his ER release papers. Hours later my brother took himself to another ER and was given and emergency surgery because... he had a strangulated hernia WHICH IS LIFE THREATENING. I am grateful that my brother didn't just lie back and suffer/die. If I could reach Dr. Bish I would inform him of this so he takes the next patient's suffering more seriously. Also, I think Dr. Bish's mother wrote the glowing report above.

Down to earth, made me feel very comfortable. Excellent bed side manor. Took his time explaining everything to me. Very professional. Had total confidence in his decisions, felt that I was in good hands.
