Dr. Dwivedi is very passionate about my care. He’s no nonsense, he tells it like it is; it may come across as rude because he doesn’t sugarcoat it. For years I had been telling my PCP and other providers about a lump in my throat, every provider order labs to check my thyroid hormones & it always came back within range so they dismissed my concerns. My PCP sent me to an endocrinologist for my diabetes, the doctor they referred me to was scheduling about 5 months out. I found Dr. D & was scheduled within weeks. On my very first appointment he felt the lump on my neck, ordered labs including thyroid antibodies (which had never been ordered before), ultrasound of my neck, barium swallow to ensure it’s not causing an obstruction. Within weeks he diagnosed me with Hoshimotos, discovered the lump in my neck was a nodule on my thyroid which was pushing my trachea. Quickly he sent me to a surgeon to get a partial thyroidectomy. Best care i have had, definitely recommend him.

I am impressed
I am so grateful my cardiologist insisted I seek another opinion. I had seen 2 endocrinologist prior to seen Dr Dwivedi. Both just dismissed me. Dr Dwivedi was attentive, he listened to my concerns and educated me on what all that mean. He knew exactly all the symptoms I have been dealing with the past 12 yrs. I am impressed. He order all the testing necessary for my treatment.

no longer in Surpise, AZ
As long-time patients, my wife and I were surprised by our last visit this week. When we arrived, the staff told us the doctor was no longer with More MD in Surprise. And in fact, had actually left the practice several months ago and moved to the Scottsdale area.

Char
Dr Dwividi is a nice guy, the problem is MoreMD in which he works out of their office in Surprise. They schedule you for a tele-visit to get labs pulled. This is a total waste of money and Dr Dwividi said all I had to do is call in. It is difficult to get anyone to answer you with a consistent message about the protocol to work with him. Seems like they want more tele-med calls and office calls then necessary to drive up profits. I fired this office, I just could not deal with the constant changing rules.

Not an advocate for you
I understand not every doctor meshes well with every patient, but that does not mean the doctor should care any less about any certain patient, or do any less work. Unfortunately, he rushed through every in person appointment we had, would get visibly frustrated when I asked questions about my health or a process, and continously talked to me like I was a child, just very underminding. He did not act as an advocate for me at any point, made very questionable decisions, and just overall did not treat me properly. If you could find another Endocrinologist, I would suggest you do so.

AMAZING
I love how Dr. Dwivedi takes the time with me. My mom and I both see him. He makes sure that I do not have any thyroid issues like my mom. He caught my thyroid cyst on time and now I do not have a cyst. He is amazing and listens to everything. I like how I can get the blood work done at the office for exams and how he does the ultrasound exams himself. He is very polite and professional.

If I could give less than one star, I would.
He spends about 5 minutes with the patient, does not allow time for the patient to get questions answered, does not consider the patient's health goals when making therapy decisions, and does not care to get to know the patient at all. He has a know-it-all attitude and makes patients feel inferior. This provider lacks empathy and is lazy. Please do not consider going to him for care.

Does not listen. Immediately wanted to order UNNECESSARY MRI’S that Medicare didn't cover. Would have cost me $1000 out of pocket. Seemed more interested unnecessarily ordering tests for no obvious reason I've seen Endocrinologists for13 years. None were as rude and less interested in helping patients as Dwivedi Find someone better

Let me start by saying this Doctor happens to be the only one for this area and i didn't realize he is a traveling doctor, more money that way. The staff in LHC are nasty & impatient. I was getting a few phone calls from Dwivedi giving me my results so fast like he was in a hurry. Every time i asked him a question so i could get a thorough explanation he would challenge me with I'm a specialist if your worried get a second opinion, which i did and the medicine he recommended would of made me SICK. These stupid 5 minute phone calls to provide quick results and hurry you along is a SCAM. I have nothing but specialists as I have other issues, but for someone to not explain medicine correctly or knowing what other issues a patient has is DANGEROUS. So i got charged more than a visit, my poor insurance and I got ripped off. He loves his covid stuff so he can bank on 5minute rush jobs. And if you missed what he said and called back, another charge. What garbage. Stay away from his person.

Ihhavebeen a patient of Dr Dwivedi for over a year. He has been a good doctor, however his office staff is unbearable. Dr Dwivedi put me on a medication that is not covered by my ins company. He told me to go through the process to get it covered because he believed it was medically necessary. Today is 1/6/2021 and my insurance company has still not gotten the verbal authorization from the doctor. The doctor's office literally needs to answer their call and confirm this medication is medically necessary. That is it. I began calling on Dec. 3 and have made 20+ phone calls and left numerous messages trying to get someone to do two very simple things. 1-send my prescription to the pharmacy 2-give auth to ins that I need this medication and cannot take another cheaper version. Today I had to pay $206 for my prescription because of their inability to do their job. In addition to that, I went 4 days without my medication that should never be missed. On the last day of my prescription after s

I was his patient at a different clinic and he was excellent. He helped me manage my Hypothyroidism before pregnancy and after for many years. I come from Yuma so he was always conscientious of my traveling a long way to see him. I’m thankful for his help.

Dr. Dwivedi's bedside manner has changed since he left Az Endocrinology and not for the better. As far as knowledge he is excellent. The MORE office is terrible. If they answer the telephone at all, they will put you on hold and eventually hang up on you. This happened numerous times. It is almost impossible to get someone to make or cancel an appointment. Our prescriptions, as first time patients at this facility, were written up wrong and could not be filled (the amounts were missing and they could not be filled by the pharmacy). It has been over a month and our pharmacy has faxed the doctor's office three times with no response from Dwivedi's office. Due to the problems with MORE medical, we have decided to seek another doctor. Today we attempted to cancel our next appointment, were put on hold and hung up on after 25 minutes. We don't know if this treatment is common with Dr. Dwivedi's office, or not, but it has been a terrible experience for us.

I received a letter from AZ endocrinology Center stating that Dr. Dwividi "downloaded basic information about patients, from our electronic medical record... including patient name, phone number, mailing address, name of primary doctor. Dr. Dwivedi "provided the patient information to More MD the separate medical group he joined. More MD used that information to send text messages to patients. Need to confirm if this is a HIPAA violation but either way shows a complete lack of integrity and I will no longer he a patient of his.

Would not recommend this doctor! He took my personal information from a former practice, even though I have never seen this doctor and I was not one of his patients. I did not give him permission to take this information nor to use it. Beware.

Dr. Dwivedi has really helped with getting my diabetes under control. My A1c is at 6.9 now which is the lowest it has ever been in my 20+ years of fighting this disease. He also screened me for Celiac disease which came back positive and after seeing GI many of my stomach symptoms have improved. His thinking outside the box and clinical judgement is superb. This doctor has changed my life for the better. Thank you Dr. Dwivedi

Really needs to work on bedside manner. Demonstrates the attitude that he is the doctor and you just need to do as he says without asking questions. The instant you communicate any type of disagreement, he will become rude and pushy. Has a tendency to talk over you and ALWAYS pushes you to get on to name brand medications!! Lastly, don't expect a call back when you leave a message. He is knowledgeable but there is no empathy and you are just an object that makes him money.
