Dr. Rohini Sarin, MD

Dr. Sarin spent the time to talk with us and encourage us through the delivery. She was very competent and skillful and worked hard even though we were scared.

I just came from an appointment with Dr. Sarin, and was so pleasantly surprised that I just had to leave a review. She is the most personable Dr. I have ever met. She asked me questions related to my previous appointment checking up on how things were with my daughter, who is also a patient. She made me feel very relaxed which isn’t easy to do when you’re about to get a gynecological exam. The exam itself was efficient but not rushed. She listened to my concerns and gave me thoughtful feedback and options. She was compassionate and personable, and I’d recommend her to anyone. Never before have I felt so comfortable at an OB/GYN appointment.

Completely different experience than the negative comments. Dr. Sarin is so patience and answered all questions. Didn’t pressure me into any testing or procedures. I never felt rushed, she really took her time and suggested areas to talk about

Dr. Sarin was one of the best GYNs I've had. The appointment was quick and easy, but not rushed. She did not pressure me into getting any unnecessary testing or treatments. This is the first GYN I've visited in my life that did not force an STD test on me "in case [my partner] is cheating on me". I'll definitely be returning for years to come.

I am specifically writing this post in response to the negative ones on here about Dr. Sarin. I was nervous to meet with her based off of what I read, but the negative reviews couldn’t have been more wrong. I left the appointment with a huge smile on my face. I was absolutely delighted to have her as my doctor. She explained everything to me that she was seeing on the ultrasound, explained next steps, and left plenty of time at the end of the appointment for questions. She was great and I’m looking forward to having her as my OB throughout my pregnancy.

I disagree with the reviews posted on this site. Dr. Sarin delivered my baby girl in March. She was on call the whole weekend. She was compassionate, caring, calming & spent a lot of time answering questions from my husband and I. She alleviated all of my fears about delivering my first baby. She was on board with my birth plan. She followed with me closely after delivery (2 weeks pp and 6 weeks pp). I hope she is on call for the next baby! I have nothing but great things to say about her.

I echo other reviews about Dr. Sarin. She is not compassionate, has zero bedside manner, cuts you mid-sentence, and absolutely does not want to help you out. She said, "You won't die from a UTI. You have to wait until the weekday to get your medicine," when I was explaining to her how I experienced recurrent UTIs and needed medications over the weekend to help alleviate the unbearable pain. I only took the first appointment with her because that was the soonest one available when I was looking for OBs in my area - but I regret it so much!

Unlike the others above, I just had an appointment with Dr. Sarin and she was wonderful. She took the time to talk me through all of my questions and concerns and was not judgemental in the least about the topic of discussion (concerns about Covid, the vaccine, etc.) She was understanding throughout the entire appointment and did not make me feel rushed to get out of there.

I echo what everyone else has said in the prior reviews. I will not be returning to Main Line OB/GYN (Paoli) either due to my awful experience with Dr. Sarin. She did not listen nor seem to care about what I had to say. She also did not answer my questions or instruct me on how to use the medication she prescribed or its side effects. Likewise, she floated out terms that did not pertain to my condition, which only made me more anxious. We did not get to the root of the problems I was experiencing, so I will be going to a different practice. I hope to encounter a doctor that actually takes the time to listen to his/her patients.

Absolutely terrible! I will not be seeing her again.

Honestly, my experience with Dr. Sarin was absolutely awful. My husband and I had our first appointment as first time parents to be and she had zero bed side manner, floated out terms that could mean we need to terminate the pregnancy based off of her view of the ultra sound, and left us feeling scared, hopeless, concerned and completely lost. Needless to say, we got a follow up opinion and they had no clue what Sarin was looking at. Everything is completely normal and healthy. I can't express how upset we were at her entire manner during the appointment. We are switching practices purely because of our bad experience with her.

SHE IS THE WORST! RUN DON"T WALK.
