Good doc, if you ever get to see him.
I saw Dr. Epstein for a year via Teledoc. He was helpful, caring, and patient. But when I wanted to see him directly (boring details why), I found there's a process that's more lengthy than entering the Secret Service. One person has to pass my info to another person to verify my insurance. Then the second person hands my info back to the first person, who might eventually call me back to schedule an appointment at some future date. Well, I'm still waiting for step 1, and can't contact the Dr. so I'm giving-up. There's a year of medical history down the drain due to poor process. What a shame.

I was referred to Dr. Epstein through my insurance, as he seemed to be one of the few with positive reviews. However, his VERY rude staff informed me that he was not accepting any new patients and then transferred me. The next woman said that he was busy for 8 months, but accepting new patients. For a psychiatrist whose job it is to treat patients who have mental illnesses, "accepting new patients 8 months from now" seems like a terrible practice. Ridiculous.
