Good experience for migraines
I've been going to Dr. Behar for migraines since 2020. I find him to be a good listener and he's up on the latest treatments for migraines. Also, I found the staff to be really nice and helpful.

Dr Behar is a very kind person I see him for PPMS, Migraines & Neuropathy in both legs. I’ve been with him for many years. He is rather slow however, I feel he’s processing how I’m feeling & what to do for me next. As great as Dr.Behar is; his staff is massively abrupt & act like they are doing you a favor, rather than their professional. jobs. I’m a retired RN & have 35 years experience & know the way they’re staff acts is totally inappropriate! The way they deal with patients would be completely unacceptable when I was still practicing & a head nurse. They would be written up & coached how to communicate with patients & family. And, if their behavior persisted, they would be fired Especially how they with elderly patients who don’t understand how today’s healthcare works. Thus the 4 stars. I recommend Dr Behar completely but, be prepared to be assertive with the staff. & let the doctor know about it. Read Less

My 89 year old mother drove 1 hour in pouring rain for an appointment with Dr Behar. She arrived 15 minutes late and Kristen, the receptionist would not allow my mother to se the doctor. Very disappointed and upset. That is not compassionate care. I guess Kristen doesn’t have a mother... or empathy for patients.

I met Dr. Behar at a conference for my husband’s MS. I had migraines and strange head pain but wanted my own doctor. I loved his mannerisms and the way he explained things on a one-on-one basis. I made an appointment and it was the best thing I ever did. He discovered something in my brain that other doctors never found. I will be forever grateful to him.

Office staff (Monroe) is horrific. Office staff is patients very first contact and represents the Dr.- Office staff is vital to success and referrals. Not enough space to review your staff and the numerous continual mistakes they are making. We are going to see someone else. My husband deserves the best & that includes the Dr's staff. I only wish I could add all the details here. From 1st phone call to neglect of follow up, input of wrong info from paper to pc, wrong contact info. Just terrible

First appointment ; backed up and waited too long; front office staff decent but unable to manage time and expectations for appointments that took over a month to schedule in advance. Still concerned that right diagnosis is accurate.

Very knowledgeable, reads current literature. He doesn't listen well though and makes occasional errors. The first appt., he made two minor errors on meds, the third appt., he misrecalled prior meds that I had taken, and when I repeated what I was currently on he misrecalled them again and then decided on a treatment that I wasn't comfortable with. Maybe he's just overworked, but I don't have confidence that he hears what I am telling him.
