Dr. Protacio and entire staff are friendly and very helpful. Dr. Protacio really wants best for his patients.

I’ve been going here for a year now. And I’ve only seen the doctor once on my initial first visit. on my second visit I was not able to see the doctor at all because I didn’t have my lab reports. What lab reports I had no idea that I needed lab reports because nobody gave me any lab reports to follow through with. They asked, what is the reason for your visit and I say follow up where is your lab report? No lab reports so I had to wait three more months to see the doctor, don’t expect refills because you have to be on top of that on your own because they will not do it automatically you won’t see the doctor at all. You’ll see nurse practitioners and nurses which are absolutely clueless. They run back-and-forth to the doctors office to ask what they should do about your case , this place is a meat market. The receptionist are totally lame. They complain about the patients in front of the patients like if they’re not there. I fired this doctor don’t waste your time. Quack Quack!

Been my family Doctor since 1990s. Friendly staff. Always call back for such important matters.

I speak to the receptionist, they say they will call back - never do. I leave messages, no return call, I call again, a week later no call back. They never pick up the phone. Before this disrespect - they screwed up twice on an important referal to a specialist- incompetent staff that can't get the a medical code right. l was sent to an Orthopedic (who was great) for two conditions - After weeks, I still could not get my other issued dealt with.

Dr. Protacio has been outstanding physician, has been his dedication to patient care.

I was in the emergency room last night. His office is closed every Wednesdays. Called him today because he is my PCP. He called me back himself within the hour and reassured me. thank you for the phone call doctor.

He is currently the Doctor of my mother in Chandler Nursing Home. Since his medical clinic is across the street, it's so convenient for him to visit her. Would see him twice a day sometimes.

Ever since they've implemented a team of healthcare professionals such as nurse practitioners, the wait time has been decreased significantly. Depending on my problem or complaint, I request to see the Doc if it's priority. Otherwise, seeing the nurse practitioners are equally as effective.

His new team and new office are so welcoming. They even have open houses now. Their new office is fresh and always clean. Not to mention, the new technology that they utilize to explain what's going on with me. I had a broken right knee and the nurse practitioner was able to use those touch screens and show me exactly my condition. Also, i get pamphlets and brochures of what i should be eating on a daily basis. I leave the office pretty happy and satisfied. I recommend him.

He has been my physician for more than a decade. Although I live in Fontana, it's worth the drive. His friendly and warm approach always makes me feel at ease. I recommend him and trust him with my life. My aunt who is at a nursing home speaks so highly of him. He takes the time to see her and makes sure she's comfortable and happy.

I brought my Mother In-Law for her scheduled appointment. We still had to wait over 2+hours. What’s the use of setting an appointment if you still have to wait for several hours? The staff is not helpful at all- downright rude and sarcastic to patients. Then we sit down and we get a nurse practitioner who puts their stethoscope backwards so I don’t know how she can hear anything. Come October, it might be a good time to rethink this insurance provider.

I don’t know why my wife keeps going to this Doctor, we set an appointment and we still wait over 2 hours to see him if we get to see him. Lately we just see one of the Nurse Practitioners that work for him because they can’t work at a hospital or at a real medical office. My kids argued with his staff because the staff said they can’t take my wife’s BP on her left arm because she has a pace maker. My daughter works in the ICU and son in-law in the ER as Nurse’s. Terrible staff and doctor.

I can't reach them for days. They sent my scripts to the wrong pharmacy. They set an appointment for me which I waited for in the waiting room for 45 min passed my appointment time, then told me after I sat in the exam room for another 45 min that they needed blood work (which they never told me prior). THEN I went to get the blood work same day and was I told I needed to fast. There phone is always busy. I would NOT recommend this office. I like the Dr. but his staff is a disaster.

As of this writing, Feb. 21, 2017, the new medical office of Dr. Rodolfo Protacio, MD, located at the former Social Security office bldg along Central Av in Glendale, CA, speaks for a new image of Dr Protacio & his medical team & staffs. Dr. Protacio accepts constructive suggestions and criticism in terms of how his medical team & staffs should handle & behave & care of Dr. Protacio's patients, be that an old or new patients. The best part now: the scheduling of Dr's visit is shorter than before

A good and knowledgeable doctor. He is my doctor for over 25 years now.

Waiting time is 2+ hours. The doctor is always out with no backup. The office is not tidy.

Terrible!!! The Doctor is the picture of his staffs who are rude and donot care about their patients. We have been with this doctor since 1989, and he was patient oriented, more time consideration and staffs were then very friendly. Currently, the doctor, like his staffs are arrogant, donot follow what they preach, like saying the patients who does not have schedules to go to their clinic in Glendale can walk-in from 8:00am to 8:30am; but it is nonsense!!! they are bunch of liars&unprofessional!
