I will never go back to see this "doctor" again. I saw him for a possible fractured pinky toe. He barely spoke to me, listened to my heart (not sure why when I was there for a fractured toe!), and barely glanced at my toe. He never asked if I was in any pain or how I hurt my toe. He sent me for an x-ray and I'm not holding my breath that he or his office will call and give me the results. This man should not be practicing - worst doctor I've ever been to!

My experience with Dr. Castillo was undoubtedly the most upsetting interaction with a medical professional I have ever had. I spent a week in the hospital for lupus nephritis and a kidney biopsy, he was my follow-up exam the day after being discharged. I was extremely concerned about worsening pain that had developed in my side days after the biopsy, which he showed 0% interest in examining. Hostile, rude, and unphased I was in tears. Saw new doc the next day who was very concerned. Scary!!!!!

Castillo is so un-interested in his patients complaints that, during a referral appointment with him for carpal tunnel symptoms, he never even bothered to examine my hands. He will go 5 minutes or more during an appointment typing on his computer screen without saying a single word. Poor attitude and a total lack of interest or empathy towards patients.

Even though his office said he was taking new patients and we had an appointment for an establishing visit as a new patient, he became very agitated and said the case was too difficult and we needed to find another doctor. When i asked if he had any recommendations he just became more agitated and kept saying it was too much work and we needed another doctor. The medical assistant was very kind and recommended someone once the doctor had left.

Dr Castillo was uninterested and uninvolved in talking or diagnosing my complaints He stared at the computer screen and only offered to make referrals without caring to investigate symptoms. He was aloof and rude.
