EVERYONE is always pleasant, helpful, and professional.Cancer is scary! The confidence Dr and staff show to each patient and helper is very comforting.

Being diagnosed with cancer was very scary. Dr. Rushing and all of his staff helped to make it less scary. All staff was thorough and professional. Explained treatment plan completely and answered all questions. Was available anytime for any questions or concerns I had. Dr.Rushing put me at ease and immediately I knew I was in good hands.

Dr. Rushing is this kind and humble provider who listened to my complaints over my symptoms and he gave me recommendation based on his views of the matter, and made me feel better. My operation healed well as expected but my skin was not happy with the sutures and the adhesives of the dressing so it took longer to heal up on the outside but he wasn’t concerned about it. I am a bleeder, he took time to suture me up. He is patient. He advised me as well with regards to my sexuality. He is that devoted to the welfare of his client. He also has a very good bedside manners. I surely want to recommend him to other females who’s in need of expert services on female oncology issues. He is my guy and I trust him.

I drove over 500 miles round trip to see Dr Rushing, twice. Worth every mile. He listened to my story and concerns. He didn’t pressure me into going one way or another with my surgery but clearly explained risks and benefits. He was kind, compassionate and I’d recommend him to anyone with a complex gynecological issue. He fixed me when other doctors opted for the birth control til menopause to control my issues.

Diagnosis Oct2024-IVB Uterine Leiomyosarcoma. For over a year, Dr. Rushing and his colleagues have been my doctors, PAs, and nurses. Through chemotherapy and now immunotherapy, they have been consistently conscientious; adjusting dosages when necessary, forthcoming with information while encouraging my questions and second opinions. Dr. Rushing is that doctor everyone wishes for. Brilliant, kind, and not dismissive at all. I am forever grateful to him and his staff at Compass Oncology.

I was treated with respect and kindness. I felt that Dr. R. 'heard' me. He did not talk down to me or patronize me. He answered my questions directly and with compassion.

Dr. Rushing has been straightforward, knowledgeable and very caring since my first appt. He is an outstanding physician and oncologist. He is very good at putting you at ease and answering any questions when dealing with a life changing diagnosis's as well as being your cheerleader along the way. I would highly recommend him and his team for anyone going through cancer.
