Rude to my elderly mother
This internist Dr. was assigned to my mother after she was hospitalized at the Methodist Hospital due to a respiratory failure because of a viral infection. All tests indicated that my mother also has a lung condition called LAM, but the pulmonologist will not confirm she has it. Doctor had an argument with my brother and refused to provide concise information on what my mother's treatment was going to be, and whether her symptoms were due to a viral infection or because of LAM. My mother told me this doctor had been in her room a few times and that he had been very harsh on her, considering my mother doesn't speak English and a translation service is needed to talk to her. He does not have the patience to listen to patients or to the family members questions and when he gets upset he storms out of the room. Very unprofessional.

Informed him re: severe bladder pain and unable to urinate for over 16 hours. He examined me and had nurse scan my bladder. Waited 5 hours before he wrote order to catheterize. Poor listening skills. Failed to prescribe my daily Gabapentin while hospitalized. His treatment plan consisted of remaining in hospital and taking NSAIDs, which were contraindicated by MD following concussion. He simply did not listen. During a confidential patient advocate meeting; he burst into room without knocking.
