Dr. Banal was very thorough and my follow up appointments for testing were handled very well by staff.

No professionalism
I went in for my first appointment with Dr. Banal this month. When he and his assistant came in he was on the phone and after being in the room for about 2 minutes on the phone talking about lunch plans. He failed to introduce himself and even verify he was in the right room except he did ask if my name was John. He then listened to my lungs. And requested I change my inhaler and also go for a breathing test plus 6 minute walk. He was in the exam room less than 5 minutes. I went today to Cape Conaveral Hospital and completed the 6 minute walk and was asked to return to complete the test when I can breath strong enough. When I got home I called his office and had to wait for them to call me back and there response was you'll need to go to the emergency room or urgent care. I do not recommend him he has no professionalism no bedside manner and he entered information into my chart we did not even speak about. If you want to be treated for your condition find a doctor that cares.

I have called Dr Banal's office three times to see about how to schedule the bronchoscopy that he suggested I have! The third time I specifically asked them to have the DR return my call figuring he would get things rolling! That was days ago. Not sure his staff even gave him my messages. Either way, I am certainly finding a new doctor. I’m not asking to be treated special. I was asking to be treated like a patient that had seen him before and mattered!!!

Same as above! Seemed annoyed. Asked me silly medical questions. Didn't introduce person with him. Walked away, I didn't know visit was over. This was my first and last visit with him! Staff was wonderful and friendly.

Very dismissive and rude while I was in the hospital. Didn't even listen to my lungs/breathing.
