Dr. Robyn Hightower, MD

I went to Dr. Hightower for years as a teenager after my parents divorced. Now, as a young adult, I realized how much she has scarred my therapy experience. She did not keep records for me in any way shape or form; no recordings, notes, etc. I ended up transferring to another doctor in the same building and had to start ALL OVER AGAIN with everything. Years, down the drain. She rushed every appointment, and she was late to every appointment. I had to start timing them because she'd always try to cut me 15 minutes short. She gave no coping mechanisms for my conditions. Every appointment felt the same, repeating the same stories due to lack of notes. Needless to say, I do not recommend her to anyone. Pick someone else. Pick anyone else. I've gone to a couple therapists since her, and I'm terrified the process is just going to repeat. I'm still not getting the help that I need years later.

Dr. Robyn Hightower is the best psychologist I have ever been to. She communicates on your level and makes it so comforting and reassuring to share your traumas and emotions with. I have never been able to go to a different psychologist because I have compared every single one to her and no one measures up. Her compassion and professionalism are unmet. I have just set up another appointment with her and I have never looked forward to therapy so much before. Dr. Hightower goes above and beyond. She helped me through the darkest times of my life. She even dropped everything she was doing to ensure that I was able to take my ESA with me on my trip to California, even though at that time I hadn't seen her in 2-3 years. I can't say enough amazing things about her. I will never go to anyone else or recommend anybody more than her. Thank you Dr. Hightower and staff for all you do.
