Dr. Robin Straus-Furlong, MD

Dr. Straus is an excellent physician. She is caring, thorough and spends time explaining every detail. When my son was born she was in the hospital to see him within hours. Recently she sent my son to a specialist for an issue and she even called later that night to make sure we were not worried because she believed it was nothing and just wanted to make sure (she was right)! She cares for your baby as if it were her own. What more could you want in the person caring for your child!

Immediate sick care. Knowledgeable and empathetic doctor!

I have been taking my 3 kids to Dr Strauss for the past 15 years and she always gets it right! Not once has she missed a diagnosis and she is always thorough in their medical care. I appreciate the time she spends explaining a diagnosis and treatment to my kids and I. I highly recommend Dr Strauss to anyone looking for a trust worthy, accurate, kind, and extremely competant pediatrician.

Is caring and sweet, but I think she misses the mark sometimes on diagnosis. I prefer her partner, who seems to be more thorough.

I received a message from Dr. Straus-Furlong's office requesting the number to my sons neurologist, he's never seen a neurologist, as he's perfectly healthy. I called the office to inform them of the mix up and a week later I received another message requesting his neurologist. Again I called the office to inform them of this error, and the person I spoke with told me she was just following the doctors orders. Our visit with Dr. Straus was also very unpleasant. They are extremely disorganized!!

We love Dr. Straus! She is kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable. She takes a tremendous amount of time talking to us and explaining things. She is a very conservative, old fashioned doctor who has many years of experience, making her an excellent diagnostician. We trust her implicitly. She truly cares about her patients and has given us warm and loving care.

We love Dr. Straus-Furlong, her staff and her office. My children feel safe and comfortable with her. She always has time for us and never makes us feel like our questions are unimportant. I trust her advice and opinions implicitly. She is extremely knowledgeable and always up to speed on the latest articles and research.

She is thorough and listens. She knows specialists and can assist in identifying key resources in the community. Her staff is professional, thoughtful, and efficient.

I would def recommend Dr. Straus-Furlong and her partner's practice. She has excellent bedside manners. Is thorough and takes time to explain her diagnosis. Most of her office staff is friendly and efficient. Her front desk/receptionist isn't always cheery and can come across a little rude sometimes but overall a good practice. It is a small practice and it's nice to know what if I call in the middle of the night, I will get a call back from one of the two doctors that I see in the office.
