Great doc!
This doctor really cares about his patients. I have been under his care for 13 years for my Psoriatic Arthritis. Most docs are business people. Not this doc! This doc really cares about his patients and truly wants to help. His staff is very helpful and have worked for him many years and that says a lot. Thanks doc!!

Dr. Lipschitz Is One Of The Best Doctors In NYC
Dr. Lipschitz has been My Doctor for about 15 years now, the last 6 years as my GCP. He is the most fantast diagnostician in the medical field today. About 7 years ago I had another GCP who ordered a PSA (For Prostate) test. He never called me with the results. Three months later I had a routine visit with Dr. Lipschitz. I have all my test results regardless of the doctor, sent to Dr. Lipschitz. During this visit Dr. Lipschitz informed me that my PSA number was extremely high. He sent me to the best urologist in the city and arranged for me to get an appointment 2 days later (usually it takes 2 months to get an appointment). He has saved my life countless times and before I go see any doctor about any medical issue, I consult with him. He has referred me to a number of doctors, all of them the best. If he orders a test, he will call as soon as he gets the results. I have his cell number and he insists that I call him with any problem regardless how small.

Outstanding Rheumatologist!
I've been to many Rheumatologists, and we have a family history of autoimmune diseases. Not one RA doctor could not tell me anything and simply brushed off my issues. Dr. Lipschitz took the time to listen and suggest and ordered up specific bloods to track down my issues. He cares and he listens. In my opinion he has raised the bar in my book.

My RA is under control
Dr Lipschitz has treated my RA since 2016 when I came to him with swollen fingers. He is aware of research in his field, is a problem solver, and has a logical mind. Under his care my RA symptoms are now almost nil. If you are upset about an MD or PhD being on the computer in year of our Lord Twenty Twenty Two…I dunno how to comfort you. Would you feel the same outrage if a doctor from times of yore pulled down a leather-bound copy of The Oxford Textbook of Rheumatology and peered at you over it? Could Dr Lipschitz treat my RA from memory? I’m sure he could—even though mine is a mildly unusual case. Am I glad he checks my records, and the latest data to be sure my treatment is appropriate? I sure am. Is he playing Minecraft or googling “plaquenil dose?” No. I know because you used to be able to see the screen. If you haven’t been seen in x amount of time, he’ll want to see you, not just call in refills. Because good doctors monitor their patients. Would recommend.

Rheumatologist
Dr. Robin Lipschitz, is very professional and courteous when dealing with his patient. He did a complete review of my symptoms and history of my medical problem. His diagnosis was right on target and the medication prescribed was great. I feel so much better. He is a wonderful Rheumatologist.

BEST DOC!!
Dr. Lipschitz is by far the best physician. Out of all my docs his advice always ends up being the correct one to follow. He is an excellent diagnostician. He always keeps up with the current data thats out there in medical research. He is always very generous with his time and cares about his patients. He has a very helpful assistant Delia who is always willing to renew my meds. Thanks Doc!

Brought my Psoriatic Arthritis under control!
Dr. Lipshitz is a wonderful, highly experienced and attentive physician. I first came to him with a swollen knee from Psoriatic Arthritis. I could not walk and needed an appointment ASAP. While not yet a patient, he found a way to get me in the very next morning. Through his care, I can happily say that he has my condition under control. Dr. Lipshitz is very thorough and appears to keep extensive notes on his always handy laptop. Unlike other doctors, he has incorporated the use of his computer to quickly look up background information on various medical topics and thus able to provide the best advice. I highly recommend Dr. Lipshitz. You will be in excellent hands.

While his many past reviews seem ok, currently, he is a non responsive and forgetful physician. He spends the majority of patient time clicking away at his computer or taking personal phone calls. He is unprepared when his first question to me is “why are you here?”, forgetting or not reading prior notes, that he told me to return for discussion of blood results. He evades answering questions. The final straw was his arbitrary change of mind (without consulting me) of prescribing an agreed upon medicine. When I questioned him he told me to calm down …. that I was too emotional . And lastly, at check out with his overly stressed and unhelpful staff, he ran out of his office telling his nurse to order a completely different medication for me. These are powerful drugs I’m talking about! When I questioned this, too, he sheepishly said “oh, yeah, I forgot” No, this is not the doctor to see AT ALL! October 2021

Buyer Beware – Oct 19, 2021
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Lipschitz?
I have been a patient of Dr. Lipschitz for over 5 years. In that time I have found him most knowledgeable. In particular I value his encyclopedic knowledge of medicine beyond just his special expertise. It makes a big difference when a doctor can diagnose over a wider spectrum. In addition his referrals have been tops, critically important in this day and age when every medical issue has its on sub-specialty in New York. One more thing Dr. Lipschitz is a patient listener and is unlikely to rush you out of his office.

Dr. Lipschitz is wonderful. He took his time with me like I was the only patient for the day. I never felt rushed, always felt like he cared. He listened thoroughly and gave knowledgeable feedback for everything. In my follow up, he explained my test results thoroughly and answered all my questions. He provided meaningful solutions and it was clear that he wanted to, and did, all he could to help. He offered to contact to 2 other doctors I have to review his findings and discuss his recommendations. He is a team player who went over and beyond for me and I appreciate and that from a doctor!

Dr. Lipschitz is the best doctor I have ever had. He listens carefully and asks lots of questions, seeking to connects the dots. Unlike other doctors I have seen, he takes what you say seriously and truly seeks to diagnose you, even if it takes a while. He truly is the gold standard of doctors and I am very grateful for his care.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lipschitz for the past 7 years. He has been a fantastic doctor. I feel he is able to converse with me at the correct level of detail, and actually listens to what I have to say. I had a few doctors in the years before working with him as my primary doctor and immediately took him on as my primary provider after our first visit due to the quality of care and PROMPTNESS of his scheduling. I have had horrors with doctors overrrunning by hours on appts, but never here. I have recently moved and attempted to find a new physician, but the first visit there reminded me of all the reasons I continued seeing Dr. Lipschitz as long as I had, and immediately reverted back to his care. Dr. Lipschitz has started running telemedicine visits, so I no longer even need to consider finding a new physician.

The worst doctor ever! Heartless and greedy. He will lure you in with his initial attention to to your problem, but loses interest immediately, once he has you. Very frequent mandatory visits just to renew prescription. Unreasonable long wait times, very rude office assistant. Doctor mostly googles stuff from the internet, maybe spends mere 5 minutes on your actual problem. He is selfish, rude and arrogant to you as a patient and anyone who's with you. He may have good connections, but has a doctor he is a terrible choice. Do not trust your life and health to him. He will simple not care! The only caring person who has a heart is the nurse... Thank you, nurse.
