I’d give Dr. Yoo a five! I tend to be a person that asks a lot of questions. He’s patient with me for asking questions. He explains it in detail. He makes sure all of my questions are answered. He’s on the ball with all of my testing results.

Everytime I come here it takes me about two minutes into the waiting room. The girls take my vitals and are very friendly and professional. The doctor comes in and explains everything in English (no medical jargon) and then I’m on my way. In about 10-20 minutes from arriving, I’m out. Dr. Yoo is so great. He is very relaxing and tells me the truth, which is a good thing! I would give him a 10 out of 5 stars if I could!

Dr. Yoo’s irresponsible and neglectful practice stole precious moments away from my mom who died of Pancreatic Cancer in his care.  If you are looking for an Oncologist, or considering Dr. Yoo and Ironwood Cancer Center, do your research, educate yourself, look into alternative treatment options and be your own advocate. Look for a doctor who will not only diagnose and treat your disease but also, and more importantly, who honors you for the individual you are and the humanity you represent. You can’t simply treat human beings with chemicals and expect meaningful results. There are so many amazing doctors who are not driven for profit. Do your homework. Get a second, third and forth opinion. The doctor-patient relationship is sacrosanct.

A true snake, a wolf in sheep's clothing. He will tell you a song and dance to get you to agree to a magical treatment plan that will wipe you out and end your life in weeks rather than the months you should have had. Goes on vacation and unreachable when starting first treatment regimen. He didn't care about whether the pt should be home with family in his final hours, he cared more about forcing more scans to get the data for his study rather than what's best for the pt. Then said let's do a 2nd round meanwhile the pt level of function went from 90% down to 20% in 10days, but let's do it again!!! Are you even looking at your pt Dr. YOO or just your data!!!

Exceptional provider who managed my brother's cancer from inpatient and ongoing. He listens to the family concerns and without Dr. Yoo, I sincerely believed my brother would not have lived. I highly recommend Dr. Yoo. He and his team is amazing and our family's guardian angel.
