I would recommend after you visit this doctor that you get a second opinion. From my experience his bedside manners were horrible. He did not properly communicate the procedure that I was scheduled to have. I felt very uneasy and unsafe to have him operating on me. I canceled my procedure and went with another practice and doctor.

Unprofessionalism at it's best
Dr. Wilson arrived to my appointment 1:15min late while on speaker phone with someone and attempting to talk at me at the same time. He asked what brought me in and while I was explaining, he interrupted saying, in a condescending tone, 'this is like a movie, where it's the end and they flash back to the beginning...maybe I asked the question wrong'. I then gave an example of what I did over the weekend and how I experienced pain in my hand during certain movements due to a tendon tear. He proceeded to tell me how he had a 6pk of beer over the weekend. Thereafter, he inquired about my accident resulting discrediting my symptoms to 'it's all mental'. He even gestured by touching the backside of his hand while stating 'we have to work on our mental health'. After all that, I tried to get back to the facts and asked what were the results of my MRI which he confirmed, a tendon tear. By this time I had no trust or faith in him as a healthcare provider. This was the worst experience ever.

Bedside manners sorely lacking
My first (and last) appointment was with him last week. One of the worst experiences I’ve had with a medical professional (in his case I’m using the word loosely). He comes in and asks me what’s going on. I tell him my symptoms, how I’ve had them over 10 years, and how it’s getting progressively worse. I finish and he looks at me and ask what I suggest he should recommend. I’m flabbergasted. I tell him you’re the specialist and I’m here for your opinion and options. It goes downhill from there. Previously I’ve had several Dr.’s tell me I have carpal tunnel, Dr. Wilson argues that I don’t then says maybe I have that and something else going on. He then tells me it could be stress related. Over 10 years? He then realizes how ignorant that statement was. Because I keep asking questions, he then tells me he has other patients, becomes dismissive and says he will give me a cortisone shot (even though I had 1 last year and it didn’t help much) and tells me to take an anti-inflammatory everyd
