Dr. Robert Weltman, MD

People should know the truth about this guy. He pumped me full of meds and doesnt remember what he gave me. Questions me up and down about what im taking. Because he doesnt bother to remember. He then walked out 5 minutes into an appointment because he didnt like that I was asking questions to clarify and get more understanding. How is he a doctor?

As a new patient of Dr. Weltman, my experience was concerning. Though the staff was courteous and efficient, Dr. Weltman seemed like he didn't have the knowledge required to be a dermatologist. How can a doctor tell a patient they have no signs of skin cancer without doing a skin check? I have a history of skin cancer I was troubled by this. I am scheduling with another dermatologist to redo my yearly exam.

Dr. Weltman was immediately condescending and seemed like he did not want to be there. He made me feel stupid for wanting a skin check at 27 saying “is there a reason you’re here since you’re so young.” Did not examine moles at all just took a picture. Brushed off all of my concerns. By the end I told him to just forget it and did not ask for anything else checked because he was belittling me so badly. I scheduled with a different doctor for next visit but may call back and cancel because I’m not sure I can be comfortable with an office who supports such terrible bedside manner.

Didn't want to listen to what I had to say and was kind of arrogant and dismissive- cannot in good concience recommend this person- too bad I was always treaed very well at the Merritt Island location by a very nice Physician there.

This Dr has a lot of anger issues. He became very aggressive with me at the very start of the visit. Basically, yelling at me for wanting him to look at a spot on my leg that another dr told me it was nothing. I went to a different dr after this and had it biopsied and it was cancerous. Save yourself the aggravation and find a different Doctor.

I have never in my life been so flabbergasted with a Dr. in my life. I have an actual diagnosis from another specialty who sent me to him to have some work done and a biopsy and he absolutely refused to listen to my symptoms or even let me get a sentence out otherwise. Basically blew me off BUT COLLECTED MY COPAY NO LESS. Had no input as to what it is I am suffering from, but called in a cream i will not be using as i have an autoimmune disease and this Dr. couldnt even tell me what he 'thought' it was. Never again. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE . Wonder if this is why they are constantly hiring for managers and medical assistants...

I went in for adult acne and possible rosacea and Dr. Weltman had no interest in my skin history, current concerns, questions, or anything I had to say really. I can't even claim he simply didn't want to listen, I couldn't finish my sentences without him interrupting me. Unfortunately, he was the epitome of someone who has been in their profession so long they no longer remember his clients are not professionals and require consideration, care, and knowledge; all of which he lacked in any important manner. He could truly be the greatest dermatologist but if someone wants to know what is happening to their own skin, they wouldn't know it as he's forgotten (or never had) the skill of working with people.I've rarely felt less considered, I will not be back nor would I recommend him.

I went to Dr. Weltman and never will I go back there or recommend this place to anyone. He was extremely unprofessional and laughed when I was telling him my symptoms. He told me that he declines me as a patient without giving reason. My assumption would be that I was too much work for him. Never have I ever heard of a doctor declining to see a patient. don’t go here or see Dr. Weltman.

Was referred by a neighbor. Went in for a specific issue but inquired about a few other issues. Dr Weltman listened, showed concern, and I did not feel rushed. The doctor met all my needs.

This Dermatologist obviously does not like his job. Does not give a thorough skin exam. Not recommended.

I went in for blemishes on my face, loss of pigment on my arms and dry scaly lesions on my legs. He aggressively challenged my medical history, doctors and blood work results as if I were lying. When I produced lab results on my phone, he wouldn't look at it. He gave me cream for the lesions on my legs, but left before addressing my face or skin pigment. When the nurse brought him back in, he impatiently glanced at my face and said "Looks normal". I've never been so belittled by a physician.

1. Excessive amount of waiting time. 2.Said he or his office would call with results after pathologist reviewed the biopsy, did not!
