Dr. Robert Watine, MD

Dr. Watine saved my life! At the age of 59 in Erie, PA. Dr. Watine had me get a PSA blood test! It was my first ever! I had a PSA level of nearly 12! I was referred to my Urologist Dr. Peter Lund who continued to save my life by taking a biopsy of my prostate gland which tested positive for cancer! By the time I had prostate cancer surgery by Lifesaver Dr. Kyle Schuyler, MD at Allegheny General, Pittsburgh, PA the cancer metastasized to the outside of my bladder, a lymph node. He took my prostate out, 11 lymph nodes, removed cancer from the bladder. After thar 35 Radiation treatments! If not for Dr. Watine I never would have known! Thanks abundantly to Dr. Robert Watine who wouldn't take any credit! He and I just thank God for putting us together!

Dr. Watine is very knowledgeable and personable he explains things, She you will understand. Appointments are always on time. The office is never jam packed or crowded and I love that. The ladies in office are very nice.

I am new to the area and I was looking for a new Doctor. A trusted friend recommended Dr Watine and I made an appointment. The office and nursing staff were efficient, courteous and very friendly. Dr. Watine made me feel very comfortable right away. He asked questions that let me know he’d reviewed my new patient paper work. He was proactive with referring me to other disciplines and I was extremely pleased and I am looking forward to receiving ongoing care from Dr Watine.

I was contacted Covid I had to beg for antibiotics with high temps 101.6 and then when I asked for steroids he wouldn’t give them to me said my chest x-ray was good which had congestion reported I’m an RN and I need to go back to work I’m out eight days I should be getting better now and I’m not His medical assistant had told me four days ago to go to urgent care so a doctor could see me because they won’t see me active Covid so I waited till Monday morning and Monday morning they stated at urgent care we do not see active Covid patients not only that his assistant Christy failed to tell him I had 101.6 for 2 1/2 days So I should be taking antibiotics at that point somethings not right here with this man doing telehealth not happening

I would not recommend Dr. Watine. I chose him because my previous doctor in the same office retired and he was fast to get a appointment. There is a reason for this. He was not friendly. Tryed to shake his hand (I know during flu season). He stared at it like a leper for 30 seconds making an uncomfortable situation. 2nd appoint I waited in the exam room for 1 hr. I left. A nurse said the dr. Should be with u soon. I said I'm leaving. Found the closet exit and walked out. Horrible experience.

After spending the last year getting injections in my back and knees without improvement I reached out to Dr. Watine, an Internal Medicine Specialist in Hermitage, for help. After reviewing my history, he ordered testing including a CT scan that confirmed a large ventral hernia. He referred me to Dr. Marcelli, an amazing General Surgeon who completed the surgery and left me pain free. Dr. Watine was so very thorough and an amazing diagnostician. I would recommend him very highly.
