I saw Dr Vissing because my physician was not available. He sent me for bloodwork and there were 3 abnormal tests. He said everything was normal and not to worry. When I sent the labs to my regular physician, she was very concerned and wanted me to see a specialist right away. I do not recommend Dr Vissing.

Very good doctor
Very friendly, low-key, and helpful. Answers all questions. His replies were right on the money and to the point. Very practical and does not do excessive and probably needless studies. Very pleased with this doctor.

Poor physician
Dr. Vissing is not a good physician at all. He doesn't conduct thorough examinations (he dismisses patient complaints, doesn't pursue information about items that could be indicative of problems that need further investigation, fails to ask thorough questions about patient health) and seems as though he is disinterested in the well-being of his patients. In prior appointments I have had to push him to thoroughly evaluate information presented to him (e.g. bloodwork, mammogram, etc.)

Dr. R. Vissing
Dr. Vissing is supposed to be good Internist. Seems bored and not interested when I have visits with him. He rarely asked me a question. I ask the questions. Another doctor I see said he was an OK doctor, but he had a "flat personality." Dr. Vissing does renew my prescriptions and refer me to another specialist if needed.
