Your trust is our top concern.

We strive to keep reviews honest, trustworthy, and fair.

Doctors can not pay for good reviews, nor can they pay to have negative reviews removed.

We monitor all reviews to ensure they comply with our guidelines and don’t include personal information, profanity, libel, defamation, harassment, obscenity or fraud.

Any reviews that are deemed fraudulent or violate our guidelines will be removed immediately.

All reviews are confirmed and audited before publication, and community members have the ability to flag inappropriate content for further review by our team.

My review is specific to those whose insurance may require you to use a combination of mail order (for a cheaper prices) and drug store pickup (to use coupons for a discount, which mail order doesn't allow). No matter how specific and timely the instructions are given, prescriptions are an issue. I'm not sure what's wrong with the process, but there's something wrong. Looking for frustration? This is your guy - he doesn't even pretend that the errors which cost you more money matter to him.

I was hospitalized and Dr. Sholtes dropped me as a patient with no communication, I had to have the hospital staff inform me. Clearly uninterested in his patients, a real class act.

Terrible. He took my daughter off medication that we asked him to keep her on. It was clear to us that she needed to continue on the medication. Off she went to school, and had severe depression issues. This bad decision has had long term effects on her recovery. I just can’t understand how he could not listen to his patient’s needs. It was a tragedy, and we will fight back. It didn’t need to happen, and the victim was a kid. Thanks doc.

I have no experience with Dr. Sholtes' work with children and adolescents. As an adult, I have had Bob Sholtes as my psychiatrist for over 10 years. He is knowledgeable, caring and skilled in his practice. Due to changing insurance plans over the years, I've seen three psychiatrists. I've continued with him over the past few plan changes, even when he wasn't on the plan. I'd rather pay more for is experience than consult with a psychiatrist without his skills that is covered by our plan.

This doctor put my 14 year old daughter on the highest milligrams of an ADD medication and didn't monitor her. Her hair fell out, she was out all the time; almost dead-like and she could not function period. He had me take her to PHP that was a complete disaster as one of directors cursed at her for being ill. and he just showed no interest in her or her issues. I would never recommend this physician to anyone.

Dr. Sholtes is extremely understanding and caing. He has been there for me during the worst times of my life and has stuck with me for many years. He basically saved my life and I have nothing but positives to say about my experience with him. He has changed some of the ways he's now available to his patients and his hours have changed recently. I still see him and probably will until he retires.
