Shoulder examination
Had a quick diagnosis of my right shoulder problem. Deteriorated rotator cuff. Prescribed physical therapy to alleviate the problem and suggested surgical repair if PT fails to help. Visit was very positive and doctor Royster’s professional demeanor instills confidence.

Excellent surgeon
Dr Royster is a great surgeon but also takes lots of time with each patient to explain everything you need to know about your condition. My whole family has used him for orthopedic needs for at least 25years! Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Low back hip pain
Went to Dr Royster to diagnose my lower back hip pain. He showed me x-ray of lower back as problem, not hip. Discussed trigger point injection gave it to me and was out of there. Very personal and efficient.

Outstanding care – Sep 06, 2024

Used a noninvasive method to relieve hip pain
First, I am a new patient and was experiencing significant hip pain. What led me to select Dr Royster were the reviews I read. The entire process from check-in, to receiving treatment, to check-out was easy and seamless. Dr Royster was excellent. He listened to my issues, thoroughly went over X-rays and also a treatment plan to include stretch exercises. I received injections (one in each hip) that were painless (froze each area prior to injection). After one day, I’m feeling better already, and confident enough to get back to the gym to resume my workouts. Very happy with staff and Dr Royster, and highly recommend this practice.

He’s the best
I have been going to Dr. Royster for 28 years. He has replaced 3 of my joints. No problems with any of them. I have osteoarthritis. I would not go to anyone else. He explains everything so you can understand your condition and what needs to be done. He really cares about his patients. He listens, unlike most drs today. He is an expert in his field. I’ve never asked him a question, that he couldn’t answer throughly.

Knee Exam
Dr Royster was very complete and thorough with the knee exam. His recommendation for a more aggressive shoe insert implies he feels surgery is not called for yet. I like that approach. John Turner
