I myself have seen Dr.Pollock for many years now and I wouldn’t see any other GI Specialist. My husband is also a patient of his starting 10/28/1923. He diagnosed my husband with NASH nonalcoholic liver disease and he saved my husband life. He was amazing and he got him into see a transplant team at UK hospital and my husband received a liver and kidney transplant on 11/24/2023 and because of Dr.Pollocks treatment prior to his transplant my husband has done amazing. His surgery was very successful and he had the dual transplant on 11/24/2023 and was home to celebrate Christmas with his family the Friday before Christmas. We can never repay Dr.Pollock for the preop care he gave my husband. If you are in need of a GI doctor you need Dr.Pollock

Wish I'd filed a complaint!
Only had an office consultation to discuss getting my first colonoscopy, NO EXAM OR TESTS, and he put it in my records that I had colon cancer. That would affect how my insurance would cover the procedure (and because he had no basis for it) so I called and asked the diagnosis be removed but the nurse told me that was impossible. I also remember having to sign off on some disclosures about how the business was structured, which was weird.Needless to say, I didn't go back and I regret not filing an official complaint.

Can you call a Colonoscopy a positive experience?
Everyone on Dr Pollack's team from reception to the wheelchair ride to our car were professional, thorough and caring. I am from Pittsburgh. The area is well known and highly rated for their medical expertise. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Dr Pollack exceeds the level of care I experienced in Pittsburgh.

Dr. Pollock doesn't listen to patient's concerns - doesn't answer patient's questions - doesn't even make 'eye contact' - very, very poor interpersonal skills - wouldn't - couldn't recommend his services to anyone!!!!

Dr. Pollack spent a great deal of time educating me about the problems I’m having with my abdomen. He examined me and did lots of blood testing to find or rule out areas of concern. He answers all of my questions. He spends as much time as I need in his office. His office staff are amazing. Great Doc??
