I was referred by my Cardiologist
Everything about my angiogram and procedure that followed was miraculous. My referring Cardiologist, Dr Pick and the support staff were breathtakingly good. Thank you very much for NOT retiring just yet. You undoubtedly saved my life. What was required in my situation was beyond routine. My hat is off to you. Many thanks!

Outstanding patient care
My wife had to see a new cardiologist after her last one went to the VA. I knew Dr. Pick from many years of working with him and his patients at Mercy, and my wife being anew cardiac patient was very scared. Upon meeting Dr,. Pick, she was told that due to a low ejection fraction she would need a pacemaker. Dr. Pick placed it three days later, and my wife truly loves Dr. Pick ( but not so much her new pacemaker)

Fantastic doctor!!!
I just had a pacemaker inserted for my heart. Dr. PickVir did a fantastic job. He personally called me to make an appointment for the surgery, and he personally called me to check up on my recovery. He is also very pleasant and has a great bedside manner! I highly recommend Dr. Pick!

I visited Dr. Pick a few years ago with Afib. I found him to be rude and impolite. Dr. Pick prescribed medication that gave me such discomfort that I immediately started looking for a different doctor, one who was more qualified with my Afib problem. Dr. Pick was not the professional I wanted to put my health concerns with. I found a Cardiologist who was better qualified in the treatment of Afib, and one who showed concern for my problem. Dr. Pick should retire. I would NOT recommend him.

He likes to have you come in for a visit when a phone call will do. Also, will not refill prescriptions unless you come to the office first, even when it will be renewed anyway.

Dr. Pick has a wonderful bedside manner and always a joke or comment to lighten your mood.He gave us total control in deciding which option was best for my husband. He gave us his input and advice and told us to spend time thinking it over and researching our options, from picking the heart surgeon,to giving us the option to stay in town or travel elsewhere if we felt better with different options available in other areas. At one time,he was the head cardiologist at the US Naval San Diego Hospital.
