Dr. Myles took over from a doctor I was using. My other doctor was great but he was leaving the practice. I should have left, or took time finding out about Dr. Myles. I did have severe back pain but not constantly. I won't go into a complete word-for-word review. However, I can tell you, that I had a good amount of pain but walked well. After six (6) surgeries I am in the worst amount of pain one can be in, and can no longer walk. I have been told that Dr. Myles has most likely taken eight (8) to ten (10) years off my life. I am doing this review in hopes that it will let people know to stay away from Dr. Myles. I normally do not make reviews, however, in the case of Dr. Myles I had to do it in hopes of saving at least one person from becoming an invalid like me!!

Disappointed With Lack of Concern and Follow Up
After my husband's surgery and follow up visit in office after over a month of 8 days in ICU with multiple issues and over a month total in hospital and rehab. After 2 visits and not seeing Dr Myles and no answers about what all happened in surgery, we decided not to return. No calls to check to see if he was still even alive. This was the 3rd back surgery and he has performed 2 cervical surgeries as well.

This man and his medical staff have gone above and beyond expectations for my son and now myself since the day we met them in 2017. Wait times and extenuating circumstances were encountered but they were always up front about it every time. Dr. Myles has made great strides in acting on every recurring staff and management problem we have had. Likely because we were not the only people to experience them. Today his office flows front to back so well the tensions that once clearly existed amongst staff are not blatant. I can say the staff is polite and honest these day front to back and Dr. Myles’ demeanor reflects it! I have trusted this man with my children’s and my life. I’ll do it again any day!

I was seeing another Dr. in the Hurst office who was leaving to start his own practice and was denied access to any records of anything that took place before my dr. left. I had neck surgery in November by Dr.Anil Kesani and still needed back surgery. I was not told, nor was there any signage (which is supposed to happen if a dr. is leaving). I called to verify my next appointment and was told that I would be seeing Dr. Myles. Very unprofessional of a doctor to do especially when it affects the patients. I had to wait an additional month to get my back surgery done by Dr. Kesani because of Dr. Myles & I wasn't the only person that this happened to. Personal feelings should have been set aside and this DID NOT HAPPEN. Very UNPROFESSIONAL AND CHILDISH for a Dr. to act like this and make the patients suffer.

Dr. Myles has listened to me as to what I want in reference to my lower back pain. He is working with me with pain management. Surgery is not off the table, but I do not want. Only time will tell.

I could not be more pleased with my outcome from surgery. I would be impressed even if I had no surgery. After 8 surgeries I had never had the level of investigation prior to surgery that he performed on me. 8 months of investigation and then completely different surgical approach. Two levels fused. L5-L4 and L1 and L2. Two day surgery. ALIF from front on Monday and posterior on Wednesday on the same joints. I am one week post op. I have a few incision pains but no prior back pain.

Dr.Myles is very gifted surgeon. I had cervical and back surgery by him. He does truly care about his patients. I can't say enough good things about him. His PA Dovie is wonderful as well. She cares about their patients as much as he does. After a neck surgery I was having a bad time with side effects of meds I was given during surgery Dovie was in recovery trying to calm me down. When I awoke again Dovie was sitting in a chair late that night in my room. She even charged my phone up for me.

I had serious problems with my spine. After 4 surgeries I can’t say enough about this man. Many times the pain was excruciating. Dr Myles and his team saw that I was cared for and were very sincere. They are my family, love them! I’d recommend them above any!!

He's incompetent, has closed his offices, which he should. His staff is worse than him. He doesn't know what he's doing. I found a competent surgeon, fixed me right up. Mr. Myles's diagnosis was completely wrong and also incomplete on my case. Beware!!!

FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR. In the beginning, I had a sense that Dr. Myles cared about me, but that changed over time. He's known to do multiple surgeries on people, many for the same problem. More due diligence and/or testing could avoid unnecessary surgery(s). Because of my own situation and multiple surgeries, two of which were avoidable, I will have lifelong pain 24/7 due to the amount of scar tissue and nerve damage and my quality of life has suffered irreparable harm. Patients beware.

5.0 star rating 10/20/2016 First to Review I have had leg pain for 2 years. Thinking this was my back I avoided getting a MRI. After discussing my pain with Dr. Myles we decided to get a MRI of my back, pelvis and knee to find out why I was hurting so much. I found out that I had torn my gluteus minimus away from my greater trochanter. Basically tore my butt from my leg. Surgery was done and 2 weeks later I was pain free after 2 years of pain 7/10. He has a great disposition and would recommen
