Terrible bedside manner
I was seen less than 5 minutes for a kidney stone. He was patronizing and treated me (35 yo mom of 3, health care professional) like a 16 year old and ended the consultation with a fist bump. If you want to feel taken serious and cared for chose someone else!

From the first visit, Dr.Mucciolo was attentive and listened to my symptoms. Going forward, he took necessary tests and discovered I did have prostate cancer . Recommended a Radiologist. Took treatment, was followed up by Dr.Mucciolo, now I am Cancer free..Thank you to Dr.Mucciolo for the time and care he has given me. Dr.Mucciolo was direct and informed me of my problem. I will recommend this doctor....

Went to see this Doctor. I had read the reviews, and stupidly ignored the negative reviews, thinking "no he can't really be that bad". Well he was. Probably the worst doctor's visit I have had in my life. The other reviews are correct, you are in and out in 5 minutes. He doesn't listen to your symptoms, and then orders blood work and also ultrasounds and even a cat scan, witout even without doing a physical exam. That's right, he literally didn't even do an exam. He pretty much asked me no questions about my symptoms. No follow-up was ordered, well apart from go see him again in 1 year for an annual check-up, yeah right. He also as a previous reviewer said, if you want 1950s medical service in 2021 go see this guy. If not stay clear. --NYU you need to start screening your doctors a little better. The facility and the nurses are great, the doctor, terrible.

Dr. Mucciolo’s skill, consistency and dedication are the reasons why my prostate cancer was discovered in its early stages and ultimately removed. He’s both friendly professional and more importantly personable. On behalf of my family and I, thank you for saving my life.

This guy is another old man imposing his values on people. I was there for a consultation to get a vasectomy. My wife and I are 36 and have not wanted kids, ever. When i told him this you would have thought I said I enjoy drowning puppies for fun. He immediately took a judgemental tone telling me “it’s a big decision” to which I said, “I know. I’ve thought it through.” Then, get this, he says, “no I meant for me.” Seriously? I’m coming to you having done the research and thought it through and you’re going to tell me you won’t do it because it goes against your moral code. Get off your high horse and look at the calendar. It’s 2020. Doctors like you are the reason back alley abortions were a thing. Don’t waste your time with this guy.

He took plenty time explaining my condition and made sure I understood everything he was telling me. He listened to all of my concerns and addressed each one.

I do not recommend Dr. Mucciolo. Similar experience as others (spends 1 minute talking to you, shoves you out the door) I passed a stone and gave it to him. I had to track him down to get the analysis of my stone(two weeks with no call from him) and my CAT-scan results. I was still in pain, he told me he couldn't help me and that I should seek someone else. Weeks later it got worse. Went to another urologist and he found that I had a prostate infection that had spread to my kidney. Poor Dr.

Doctor was in and out in about 30 seconds. Did not even examine area in question where pain was being felt. I hadn't even finished describing symptoms when he declared blood test. Then, as he was tying my arm he asked if I'm alright with needle sticks. Before I had even answered, the needle was already in my vein. Finally, he said I should get sonograms of basically every major organ in the lower half of my body and sent me on my way; telling the nurse there was no need for a followup.
