I think he is great, personal, and down to earth. He is straight forward. He has been very caring. I would completely trust him. I wish all doctors was like him. I am so thankful God crossed my path with him. I can't say enough about him. Highly recommend!!

Incorrect diagnosis that resulted in unnecessary procedure, wasted cost and time. Most of visit was conducted by an assistant. Correct diagnosis appeared to be obvious to subsequent orthopedic surgeons who looked at the exact same MRI.

Dr. Morgan fused my spine at two levels (L4/L5 & L5/S1) in 2014 and it changed my life for the MUCH better. I was constantly in pain and having to compartmentalize the pain to get through my day. I would “self medicate” with alcohol at night and became very sedentary. I knew the very next day that the surgery worked and because he had me participate in a spinal strengthening program ahead of my surgery, I only missed 12 days of work (in an office setting). I selected Dr. Morgan over a hotshot surgeon who actually trained him during his fellowship because I liked Dr. Morgan’s mechanical engineering background which, to me, gave him a problem solvers mindset. I spent hours on the internet reading about spinal fusion surgery and only read about horror stories. I realize now that’s because people who have successful surgery tend to get off the internet and move on. I’m only posting this now because I was telling a friend who is looking for a surgeon about Dr. Morgan.

Dr. Morgan recently moved to St. Louis, MO when I was scheduled to see him. One of his first patients in his new city. Previously I was told the practice was not seeing new patients and I felt discouraged - but everything happens for a reason! Dr Morgan specialized in my genetic disease, he discovered issues just by LISTENING and EXAMINING me! He also found a huge problem that could have resulted in paralysis or even worse and was able to fix it immediately. I’m so thankful for Dr. Morgan!

This man saved my life. Just when I thought I'd be stuck in wheelchair forever, he looked at me and said how would you like to walk again because I believe walking is only the beginning of what I can do for you?. I hugged him and for the next 2 years he slowly became my real life hero. He was honest in telling me my journey would be long and painful but we'll worth it, and in the end it was all that plus the most rewarding experience I have ever had. 8 surgeries later, I now walk proudly.
