What an incredible experience I had with Dr. Moesinger at McKay Dee hospital. I was so nervous to have a major surgery and Dr. Moesinger and Phil made the whole process so easy and the personal and professional care I received from both of them was exceptional!! What a marvelous team…thank you!

Stand clear of this surgeon
He performed a right flank hernia repair on me and caused more harm than he did good. I went in for a recurring hernia repair, which possibly was something overlooked by surgeon number 1, and caused additional injury. He came in on the same scar from the other surgery and caused more damage to that area which is now oversensitive and very painful. He caused some nerve damage which made it sensitive (a brush burn feeling) in my lower abdomen. The worse thing of all besides the nerve damage and painful scar, is the fact that HE CAUSED an additional, VERY PAINFUL, hernia at the top of the iliac crest (hip bone) which he admitted to me and my husband by saying he pinched some fat in that area. I had a CT scan after the surgery and the radiologist's report says 'Small residual fat filled lateral abdominal wall hernia with associated scarring..' THIS WAS NOT THERE BEFORE! Dr. Moesinger lied to Intermountain Healthcare, McKay-Dee Hospital, and said he never told me he did anything wrong.

On December 3, 2018, Dr. Moesinger and his surgical staff performed a Whipple procedure on my spouse. I cannot find words to say how much we appreciate his expertise with this procedure, his aftercare visits and his willingness to answer question after question regarding the procedure, the recovery and future health needs. Thank you to him, his surgical team, the nurses and all who assisted at McKay Dee Hospital, Ogden, UT.

In 2009 Dr. Moesinger saved my life he preformed a surgery that not many could have, 9 hours under his knife, and a few months later I was able to return to my career as a Firefighter. He had to preform a Open Whipple on me. Thank you sir.

Knowing what I know now I would NOT use Dr. Robert Moesinger of Ogden, Utah. He took my appendix out. At my follow up appointment I told him I still had the same pain and he admitted that nothing was found to be wrong with my appendix. He even made a joke saying "at least you'll never have to have an appendectomy again." Not funny! Three months later I was diagnosed with a condition that was a simple cure. As easy as taking an antibiotic for the next eight weeks.
