Dr. Robert Mitchell, MD

I had an appointment on 10/24/2023...and my review of this doctor and the practice is very outstanding! The entire staff was courteous, professional, and the doctor was very attentive with everything I had to say. He also asked for my opinion as to why I I needed to come there for services. He was very instrumental in giving me complete confidence due to his immediate responses to my questions. Following my visit, I was amazed that the prescribed medicine that he recommended for me completely worked very well, which had been an ongoing issue for three years! Outstanding Doctor!!!

Dr. Mitchell has been treating me for 20 years. He explains everything to me. I trust him.

VERY PROFESSIONAL HIT A HINT OF HUMOR. DOWN TO EARTH, SAYS IT AS IT IS, AND VERY SMART. DON'T TRY TO FOOL HIM, HE KNOWS. I HAVE BEEN SEEING HIM FOR OVER 5 YEARS, NOT ONE HINT OF DISAPPOINTMENT.

Dr Mitchell diagnosed me with pancreatic cancer in June of 2018. It turned out to be stage 3. I am currently still kickin’ and thriving as of Sept 2020! Without his expert advise and sending me to the best professionals, I would not be here today. My cancer is not cured but I am handling it well. I will always be thankful for his caring, expert advice . Thank you for life, Dr Mitchell!!

Excellent, his nurses are very busy, but always ok when I have dealt with them...

This was my 1st visit so I got in early to do intial paperwork. The lady at reception was RUDE to say least ,like she was bothered that I showed up early. She says I was HER 9oclock , excuse me but I ain't your anything I'm not there to see you . She asked me rudely again for my driver's license and insurance and list of medications, but then changed her mind and said Go ahead and sit down and I'll call you back. These Doctors run a shady business overbooking to charge insurance companies more money. When did being a Doctor become a business priority over a human being health????

Could not get into see Dr Mitchell despite talking to him directly to see me earier due to significant GI symptoms. No cancellations in 3 months to get me in earlier??? Office staff is terrible and rude. Called at 11:54 AM to change an appt. Stephanie stated "had a bad connection" and disconnected - obviously it was lunch a "2 hours". Called back at 2 PM. No answer until 2:10. Couldn't get in for 4 months!! Asked to speak to Dr. Mitchell. Was told to keep my appt. on Monday. As a healthcare provider for over 35 years with indepth knowledge of GI medicine, I've never been treated so poorly and unprofessionally. I'll not direct any patient I see to this office purely due to the office staff. I suspect but can't comment on Dr. Mitchell's abilities, however, if choice of support staff members is any benchmark data point???

Excellent doctor! I was his patient from 2002-2004. I finally got my gallbladder removed in 2009. Dr Mitchell helped me with exercise regimen and diet along with IBS meds.

He is an awesome doctor - the best I have been to for listening and having my trust. His staff however, is not helpful in getting me an appointment for surgery clearance - in fact they have been rude and untruthful to my surgery coordinator. Only medical staff I have encountered that is no helpful.
