Dr.Milam and his staff are wonderful I have severe anxiety regarding any medical procedures let alone spinal surgery! His staff made sure I felt comfortable and informed throughout the whole process. I feel very fortunate to have found his team!

Dr Milam is head and shoulders above all of the surgeons I have known. I am 78 years old and have broken lots of things. I trust him completely and I know that he always has my best interest in mind.

Dr Milam thankfully started with the least invasive procedures to relieve my pain before deciding to do a spinal fusion. Any surgery dealing with my back is scary for me and this was my first! I had a lot of questions and he continued to answer them all to make sure I understood what all he was going to do. Going into the operating room I felt confident that everything was going to be fine and it was! Surprisingly, I had much less pain than I did with my total knee replacements. He even came to my hospital room on his time off to explain a concern I had. I don’t think you can find better bedside manners than that! He’s very personable and his calm demeanor is very relaxing to an initially stressful patient as I was in the beginning. His PA Paul is excellent in his own right and is easily approachable and responds quickly via MyChart.

Dr. Milam came highly recommended and he did not disappoint. He is a very compassionate, caring doctor with attention to detail with my specific needs. At the age of 76, he performed spinal fusion surgery on me with great results. I am very pleased with his expertise as a surgeon and his positive personality. It’s rare to find a highly trained Surgeon who’s personable and truly. cares about his patients. I’ve been a Nurse for 30 years and I would send my family and friends to him. He’s one of the few great ones.

Had my 3 month follow up appointment with Dr Milam. I am feeling great from surgery and an almost invisible scar on my neck. Dr Milam has a great personality and willing to answer all of my questions. I would recommend him to my family and friends.

Dr Milam replaced the disk between C6-C7 due to a pinched nerve which was causing pain in my shoulder and arm.

He is always a pleasure to visit and explains things so I understand what is going on. Also very helpful with suggestions on pain management doctors that are in my network. He went out of his way to get me several names to help me.

Milam to any and everybody he is a wonderful doctor he walked me through this process and explain every detail to me after surgery he made sure I was comfortable because everybody knows surgery is painful but he reassured me that I would be okay and everything would be okay he is such a wonderful doctor I'm glad I chose him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Milam since mid 2019. I have scoliosis and needed a surgeon who was versed in adult scoliosis in conjunction with bulging disc issues as, they are hard to find! I consulted with four surgeons, I chose Dr. Milam! I had successful fusion surgery in the fall of 2019 and could not be happier with my results! I am very active and have been able to resume all of the activities I participated in prior to my surgery. As I have extenuating back spinal issues and arthritis in my joints, I will remain under the care of Dr. Milam as we have formed a great physician/patient relationship. My health and being able to live my life to the fullest is Dr. Milam’s top priority. I leave every visit with every question answered and a detailed health plan moving forward! Dr. Milam is the best. Having back surgery is tough. Now that I am healing properly, and going through the process, I am sure that I will be pain free and better sooner than later ??.
