MY experiences with DR. M and his staff were always very positive. I was his patient for several years prior to his retirement and found him remarkably sharp (especially for his age) and knowledgeable.

I’m not sure how this doctor is still practicing medicine. I have an autoimmune disease. This doctor had me get bloodwork done and on the follow up visit he told me I have schizophrenia and a mental problem and that I should seek help from a psychiatrist and that there’s nothing wrong with me (after I had previously been diagnosed with hashimotos by multiple doctors). I asked what to do about my symptoms and he told me “You should go to a psychiatrist and get your head fixed.” while laughing.

Dr. Meckelnburg and his staff were rude to me as I accompanied my husband for an exam. I asked questions about his condition and Dr. Meckelnburg behaved as if I wasn't speaking. He spoke only to my husband and never addressed my questions. Upon test results, he rushed my husband to get surgery ASAP (could have waited) and didn't bother telling him that he would be quarantined for 10 days. I was recovering from surgery at that point and neither of us was able to provide needed care for the other.
