Dr. Robert Marseille, MD

I have been working with Dr. Marseille for several years now since I was a teenager for a variety of mental health issues and he has been so helpful and caring throughout the process of finding what works for me and he is honestly the smartest person I have ever spoken to. Really confused about a few reviews on here because I refuse to see anyone else besides him.

Been seeing Dr.Marseilles for about two years. I tried to see the best in him, as he was HIGHLY recommended to me by my psychiatrist (who actually ended up dropping me, with no warning & ignored me when I begged for an explanation) I told him from the start that I do not normally want to take meds, but realized it may be the best option. He agreed & promised he would have me on no more than 3 medications at once. I was simply just a patient on a piece of paper to him. Very cold, zero empathy. I cried A LOT on the first visit, as he was asking very deep personal questions about my trauma. Nothing from him, not even offering a tissue. I kept sniffling & was too anxious to ask for one. Like a robot, EVERY SINGLE appointment asked me the same exact questions (even if the visits were only few weeks apart). Blood tests done? Are you still working at __, which by the way, I hadn't worked at for years. What does your husband do for work again? I am on 4 meds currently at the highest doses!

I was recommended to Dr. Marseille by my therapist. I have had depression and anxiety since childhood and had been on and off of a few different medications over the years. Those meds always made me gain weight and flatline, so I would get off of them once I felt better and yadda yadda yadda, you know the drill. Dr. Marseille had me describe myself and my symptoms and within the hour felt I was a good candidate for a med I'd never heard of. I gave it a try, and it took a little adjustment at first to get the perfect dosage, but now my life is utterly changed. He nailed it. I'm eternally grateful for the gift of this medication and thankful for a doc that understood my symptoms better than the other docs of the past couple of decades. Thank you Dr. M!

Dr. Marsellies treats me and two my daughters. We all suffer for PTSD , and depression. He is always listening what I want to say , and has a lot of empathy. Definitely he is not rude man. He is different then others psychiatrist I previously was seeing. He is very smart ,and we trust him. I could recommend him for everybody who has any mental problem.

Dr. Marseille is an excellent, empathetic and exceptionally knowledgable physician. He is a able to both clinically explain the source of psychological issues, but also the ways in which certain types of medicines treat them.

We have been seeing Dr. Marseille for over a year now for treatment resistant MDD and GAD. His expertise and compassion has been a breath of fresh air. He's worked with us, respected our experience, and taken a multi-modal evidence based approach to his care.

He is extremely bright and caring. He doesn't mince words which I like. He remembers details and likes to simplify your meds/management. I really love the care he provides.

Dr. Marseille is the best psychiatrist ever. He diagnosed my son with a disorder that no one else noticed. Changed my son's life. I can tell he truly cares about my son. He takes the time to listen and his advice is excellent. He may appear as if he doesn't have good bedside manners initially, but there's no doubt in my mind that he truly cares.

Dr. Marseille has saved me! I've seen many psychiatrists and none were as attentive as him. He is very blunt and to the point but he pays attention to every detail of your life. I feel very confident in every recommendation he makes and offers me options to still have autonomy in making my own medical decisions.

Dr. Marseille is a great listener and very thorough in his questions and plans for his patients. His goal is to make you better and he is very knowledgeable with the best ways to do that.

Honestly He is one of the best doctors I've ever met all of these reviews are probably just from people who were looking for a doctor to give them a ton of drugs to abuse. He really cares about you and makes you feel like a human being. He hears what you have to say and really try's to Taylor your treatment to your needs. I was in the hospital and he even came out of his way and pulled some strings to see if I was okay and talk with me. Best doctor ever don't let these other reviews scare you.

A continued review because I seriously hate this doctor. I saw him last week. I went in to refill my prescription on Thursday. The pharmacy sent in an authorization to him and now it has been 1 week. He has still not confirmed. So here I am. Waiting for my prescription that I need to function. I called the office and nobody has responded. Thanks for screwing me over!

Not interested in helping, just billing your insurance. God forgive if you miss an appointment, he charges you more than the co-pay and what the insurance pays (the late fee is more than UCR (Usual, Customary, and Reasonable)).

Very rude man, he makes you feel worse leaving than you did coming in. He has no empathy for patients and does not belong in this field. He is a classic case of a cold hearted psychiatrist who only cares about himself and being in a high pay field. My old therapist reccomended him and he was terrible.

Dr Marseille focuses on filling out his forms rather than helping you with what you have stated you need at the outset and then baring your soul for 60 minutes, he does not help you He says next time. I have another appointment now.
