I’ve seen the doctor a few times now and each time I’m left waiting for a minimum of 90 minutes, for the doctor to spend 2 minutes with me and not draw any blood. This morning I was put in a room right away at 9:30, to only be told the doctor doesn’t normally show up until 10:45. I had to leave to get back to work without seeing the doctor because of this. Unfortunately, this practice doesn’t seem to have any regard for its patients’ time and I will not be back.

He is AMAZING. after many doctors not knowing what my fiance has or how to properly treat it, Mandal discovered what it was and has treated him. And he's in full recovery. I am so grateful for his services. I trust him wholeheartedly with my life and you should too. Plus, he has a friendly personality with a bit of humor.

Dr. Mandal has treated both my husband an I for cancer. We firmly believe he saved my husband’s life with his skill and fast action. We see him in the Elgin office and yes we always count on an hours wait. However, we understand why because we ourselves have been the cause of one. Dr. Mandal never puts off remaining with a patient who has something unexpected crop up during an office visit be it medical or emotional. This is a serious disease and he takes his care of it very seriously.

Dr. Mandal is a fabulous man. He takes the time to address every concern, question, issue you need answered. He is very compassionate. Yes the wait time is quite lengthy, but If hes late, its likely due to him being longer than expected at the hospital rounds. My dad has been a patient for two years and we have seen him in both his office, the ER, the hospital floor, and the cancer center in sherman. Office is horrible, highly recommend seeing him at Sherman. REVIEW BASED ON SHERMAN CARE.

Yes the wait was 90 min, but it was clear that Dr Mandal treats his patients with the level of care due anyone with such serious illness, and takes all the time needed to discuss the conditions and options and answers any questions needed; hence potential long waits. He was very personable, attentive, patient, and gave us excellent information on our condition, discussed next steps and options, and answered all of our questions. Has compassion for the patient and allows any time required.

Never ever on time for appts. Office calls to confirm with different time given in card when appt was made. Front desk set up for check in and out is a joke and the employees are very rude! Nurses are very kind tho. When you have cancer to be at the mercy of these things are unsettling at best. Besides the people who take time to being you to the appts. This practice needs a shake up for sure!'

I took my Mother in law there twice upon recommendation of Sherman group. The first time he saw us 1 hour after our appointed time and there was only 3-4 others in the waiting room. The second time, it was about 1 hour and 15 minutes but only because I complained about the wait.

The office was filthy and crowded. It was like being in a medical office of a third world nation. The front office staff was rude. The nurse was rude. Dr. Mandal was rushed, rushed, rushed. I felt that I was taking up too much of his time. This was an awful experience.
