Treats your Pain like it’s a joke.
Brought X-ray showing condition from the chiro office and he was not interested in reviewing them. Almost seemed insulted I brought them. Never asked how much pain are you in. Just wanted to know how long I wanted to be off work. I want to be able to sleep and have a normal life again that’s why I am here to see you! Never ever again. GPOA has been great to me when my rotator cuff needed repair. But that’s the extent of it I will go elsewhere.

Poor Bedside Manner, Not Helpful & Not Thorough
I don’t recommend this doctor especially if you’re older. He didn’t do a comprehensive assessment, didn’t recommend further testing, didn’t offer suggestions on things that would help with the pain from a compression fracture and bulging disc. He basically stated that since my mother has dementia we should just give her an over the counter pain reliever for the pain because she couldn’t express what type of pain she was experiencing. All she could express was her back was really hurting. I was completely appalled at his demeanor.

He promotes himself as spine specialist which is the reason I went to see him. He did not do a comprehensive exam or take a comprehensive history of my symptoms or what was helping with my pain. All he did was refer me to pain clinic. Do not waste your time. All he did was take my copayment and bill my insurance. I recommend seeing rehab physician for comprehensive evaluation.

Dr Liss is okay... agree with most of the comments on his demeaner. His staff is what we found most difficult to deal with. They dropped the ball on an issue item that postponed my wife's procedure and then never followed up to re-schedule it.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Liss. He took a lot of time with me and answered all my questions. He was both friendly yet professional. My hip replacement surgery was very successful and the follow up care was excellent. I highly recommend him as a surgeon!

Dr Liss didn't answer my questions regaurding my back pain. I was in severe pain so the NSAIDs he prescribed were useless. Had a follow up 3 weeks later. I should of gotten a second opinion after my first visit
