Danger he used screws to long
I had neck surgery 7 years ago and I have been suffering ever since. He put screws in my neck that are to long. I am waiting to have them removed. He refused to send my medical records. I got a hold of a copy. He knew the screws were to long and protruding into my spinal column. It took me years to find out what was wrong. Please don’t use this man he has done this to more people than me. In Mississippi. It is past the time I can sue him or I would. If he was a decent person he would pay me without a lawsuit.

Professional, great communicator, skilled staff
I had to wait a few minutes, but not long given there were ten people in the waiting room. Dr. Kimber and his nurse were in the examining room. It is very well equipped, all my data including MRI, Xrays and CatSCAN were already uploaded on the three screens. All my paperwork was organized; it is obvious he'd been over my records and images before starting the appointment. I am a mess and in pain, and he was concerned and explained my situation and possible paths to relief and treatments. He communicated very clearly, explaining each medical situation and severity clearly. They scheduled next appointment immediately for treatment. The office staff Stella, Allison were very helpful and extremely polite. Trudy the nurse, I think PA, was very professional and helpful when I asked questions as the appointment ended. Not every appointment with a physician always goes well these days, staff confusion, mix-ups, waiting. I was very very impressed with Dr. Kimber and staff.

Failed Back Surgery
June 30th 2022 I had back surgery by Mr. Kimber. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had and now I think about his arrogance every day. You might never think the same way I do but this is my experience with him. After my surgery they transported me to a rehab facility in Sarasota, FL. suppose to rehab, it was like a prison and all they wanted to do was make me do things I was not capable of doing. They had me ride in the back of some kind of transport van, laying down flat feeling every bump in the road for about 40 minutes. I was terrified. I was there 10days and hated every minute. I’m home and received home rehab and I did great. My follow up appointment was after 6 weeks. I was at the hospital because my daughter was having a baby. Kimber’s office called I got a voice mail. Friday and follow up on Monday. It said if I didn’t call by 3:00 pm my appointment would be cancelled. I have not seen him since. Pain management now. 0 stars for his ability.

My mother recently had back surgery by Dr Kimber and we are very pleased with the procedure and the prognosis for recovery. Dr Kimber truly cared for my mom and clearly communicated with us the procedure before the operation. He was with us shortly after the surgery to see how my mom was recovering and to ask if we had any questions. The following day he spent time with us to go over details on the surgery and gave us good insight on how she can continue to improve. He answered all of our questions and we are confident that my mom will continue to live life without the pain she was expecting. His office staff was exceptional as well. Roxanne, Sam and Trudy were great to work with. Thank you to everyone at Kimber Spine!

For 4 years, my right leg pain and back pains were terrible and I could not climb ladders or do any bending or lifting. Before I saw Dr. Kimber, I had one surgery on my back that did not help, and I was afraid it was never going to get better. Thankfully, Dr. Kimber was willing to see me and quickly figured out the real problem. He did an amazing job on my back surgery and now both my leg pains and my back pains are gone. Since my surgery by Dr. Kimber, my legs are strong again and I am able to do all my normal activities, even climb ladders, without pain or weakness. I especially appreciate how Dr. Kimber talked to me like a person and how he explained everything about my surgery using pictures and models. His office staff were also very helpful and friendly.

Dr Kimber truly cares about his patients. He takes time to explain things and answer any questions. He fixed my husband’s back and leg after a previous surgeon had him in constant pain. Dr Kimber fixed in one operation what another surgeon could not do in 3 back surgeries. When Troy, my husband, woke up in recovery the pain he had dealt with in his leg for years was gone. Dr Kimber has a God given talent and we are blessed that he was placed in our path. I highly recommend him to anyone with back issues. His office staff, “The Two Kim’s”, are wonderful. They are always so kind and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Kimber and his staff.

I had constant arm pains and numbness that was making my life miserable. Before my surgery, I was too weak and painful to do any mowing or yard work, and worse -- I could not HUNT anymore! Dr. Kimber spent a lot of time with me carefully explaining my neck MRI and CT scan pictures and showed me why I was having so much trouble. And he showed my how he would fix it using models and pictures. And fix it he did! My neck surgery has given me strength and use of my arms back, and relieved my arm pain and numbness, and now I can hunt again! And I can do some yard work, which makes my wife happy. Dr. Kimber has a light-hearted and kind personality, and truly listens to my problems. His staff are excellent and very helpful, and were easily able to help me get all my arrangements made for surgery. Also, the Merit Health Biloxi hospital, nurses, and anesthesia doctors were very pleasant to work with, and gave me wonderful care after my surgery. I highly recommend Dr.

I came to Dr. Kimber after months of back pain and being slightly humped over. I was having trouble doing normal activities and walking too far due to pain. Dr. Kimber exceeded my expectations. It was like "sunshine with a smile". I should have expected this as all his office staff were extremely nice. Since my surgery my walking distance has increased and I am noticeably straighter. The best part about this, is my 5 yr great granddaughter is proud of me since I can get around without a walker.

Dr Kimber is very honest. He was concerned about me and he was very confident in knowing he could take care of my problem. I used to have lower back pain which restricted all my normal activities. Since recovering form my surgery I can walk a lot more and spend quality time playing with my granddaughter.
