I was an orthopedic RN at DeKalb Medical for 45 years. Nurses know who they would pick whe their time comes for an orthopedic surgeon. (Or any problem, actually!) I knew his patients did well post-op and considered him my first pick for a darn good doctor. I recommend him to friends and relatives.

Dr. Karsch did not review the left and right shoulder x-rays I brought to his office and declined the need for additional ones. He relied solely on a physical examination was not nearly as thorough and as I would have expected (I am a physician, although not an orthopedist). His conclusion was only that of degenerative processes in the a-c joints (bilateral). I never mentioned that I was a physician, although he should have known from my questions that I had more medical knowledge that most of his patients. Instead, he came across as cocky and dismissive. I subsequently visited another orthopedist who conducted a more thorough physical exam, reviewed the old and a new set of x-rays and discussed his concerns, in great detail, about rotator cuff tear, subsequently confirmed by MRI. I would never recommend Dr. Karsch.

Dr. Karachi was warm and quick to identify issues with my shoulder and hip. He was not pushy and gave me my options in a concise and meaningful manner. I felt confident in his knowledge and precision of observation.

Didn't actually see doctor until 2nd visit - saw his staff who are quite nice and helpful. Dr. spent very few minutes with me and ignored most of what I was telling him. It felt like since my situation wasn't a surgical situation that he was done...no further advice, no empathy, just please go to another doctor for help. Sincerely frustrating after going through hoops of getting appointment, doing tests, being hopeful for some relief, etc... Dr.'s bedside manner needs work!

Dr. Karsch and his staff go to great lengths to make the overall experience very positive. His attention to detail and non-rush demeanor really put you in good hands. The wait in the exam room can be a little longer than others, but it is totally worth the wait because you have his undivided attention. I have and will be recommending him to family and friends in the future, without any hesitation.

Dr.Karsch is a great orthopedic !! He is very thorough with his examination.( He takes time with his patients, you will not feel rushed like a herd of cattle) You will get the same attention when its your turn. Over the years i have had knee injections, recently Dr.K injected my knee, shoulder and wrist. I must say that his injections are almost painless.. he knows what he is doing!! ( My experience ) I am proud to say he is my orthopedic !! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I went to Dr. Karsch because I thought I had injured my ankle. I was seen within a day of calling. The staff was very friendly and easy to talk to. Dr. Karsch listen to my concerns and even though I did not know how I hurt myself, he ordered an xray. After showing me the xray and explaining how and why it eliminated injury and arthritis. He then eliminated a sprain. He recommended I see a vascular surgeon and it was the right call. Now I can walk and feel I owe it to his knowledge. Thx

I would not recommend this office to any patient because I care that no one receives the incompetent treatment I did. I ended up in the ER from this practice after being misdiagnosed. Hopefully, I won't have permanent damage from this doctor. Kodi, his physician assistant mocks people and tells them they're making up their injuries for money, basically calls people fakes. I've seen over 6 providers and suffered severe trauma in my car accident, so I don't think you can fake brain trauma.

Excellent staff and they are extremely helpful. They recommended a great cast protector that was fairly inexpensive. Dr Karsch was also very detailed and helpful in his explanations of how he planned to repair my tendon and he also performed a seemless surgery with 0 pain. Highly recommended!
