Excellent Doctor who I highly recommend!
Everyone working in the Pulmonary Department was highly kind and competent and put me right at ease before I saw Dr. Kaner. And I didn’t have to wait a long time before I saw him. And as usual, Dr. Kaner spent a long time reviewing my vitals and answering every question clearly and precisely. And he always gets back to me in a timely fashion whenever I have a question for him. I would highly recommend Dr. Robert Kaner! He’s truly the Best!

Saved my Life! No joke!
I went to 5 different doctors before coming to Weill Cornell & all were wrong. For 5 months coughing up stuff, finger tips turning blue, slept sitting up to be able to breath, eventually couldn't walk a block or pick up something cause i couldn't get enough air in. Sounds dramatic but man I was really scared, i didnt what to do. Friend said go to Weill Cornell rated #1 in nyc for Pulmonary. So I first went to the resident clinic because of my insurance & worked with an excellent resident, Dr Laura Libby (not there anymore, graduated). But she worked with Dr Kanar, turned out I had a rare lung condition that was one of Dr Kaners Pulmonary specialties. These people saved my life!!! No exaggeration. I finally had a name for it, a cause for it, and a cure for it. I am FOREVER thankful! And now I am soooo THANKFUL Dr Kaner takes my insurance directly for my GREAT follow up care (instead of the resident clinic). I honestly don't know what would've happened to me.
