I’m a new patient with back neck and arm pain Dr Josey was kind and very profesional, he explains clearly the best way to approach my conditions.

Dr. Josey explained my options thoroughly and then gave me his opinion on which was best to follow initially. I very much appreciate the genuine concern exhibited!

Dr Josey and his team were all amazing. Dr. Josey had very kind and patient bedside manner. He took time to explain and answer all my questions. I never felt rush. He too me from not being able to walk without extreme pain to dancing the night away!

Dr. Josey communicates very well, clearly explains the procedure, what to expect, etc. Then he answers all your questions clearly and directly. I have had other surgeries with different spine surgeons, Dr. Josey is the best both as a skilled surgeon and communicating with the patient. He also has a great staff! Bottom line - I trust Dr. Josey as a surgeon and a person.

Dr. Josey is a talented surgeon. I was in such intense pain, I was sure that life was over and was giving up on life. After my Microdiscectomy surgery with Dr. Josey, I am a new woman and have a lot to look forward to in life. Despite being a difficult to deal with patient because of the enormous pain, Dr. Josey’s staff met me with compassion and made accommodations for me in multiple ways. My family and I will be forever grateful to this office and physician. They gave me my life back!

Great experience with Dr. Josey. Very informative, provides his expertise clearly and listens before providing possible routes to take. Never felt rushed during appointments and everyone at the office has been a pleasure to work with.

Did not like the wait time . As a new patient with all the paperwork in hand and 30 minutes finally early, was not taken in for 20 minutes past my appointment . maybe another 15 minutes to be evaluated by the PA but zip zip Dr. Josey whirls in and apologized about my waiting - great bedside manners and diagnosed me just as I told him to!! No he quickly put me at ease and concurred exactly as I guessed- perhaps a pinched nerve and let’s order a MRI . Exactly what I expected ! Great experience .

Dr. Josey and his PA both took so much time in explaining everything about my injury, as well as my treatment options, the expected outcomes of all scenarios, and the percentage of potential future problems for each choice. He really made me feel so much more comfortable with a treatment option I’d been struggling with due to a bad experience 20+ years ago. I came to him for a second opinion, and I’m so glad I did. Hands down would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Josey performed a lumbar laminectomy and replaced a disc at L5-S1. He did an excellent job and I feel great. It’s been 3 months since my surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Josey.

Excellent surgeon. However, when I went back after my surgery and had turned 65 and had Medicare in addition to the same work insurance, he would not see me! Another Doctor in the office saw me. Thank God he was there!

I had an open workers comp case from 10/2016 and was recently relocated from Idaho to Texas so finding a surgeon was difficult. I lucked out with Dr Josey! Although difficult to get in and see (only downside would be the front of house response for scheduling) was a repeat challenge and not great at returning calls or emails to me or my case worker. But I cannot say enough about Dr J, his PA, and dedicated nurse; they are professional and get down to it. Unlike other WC docs I saw in Idaho Dr J went through a process starting with PT, to epidural, to facet injections, lastly an A-lyf fusion (a fusion through the stomach); he tries to avoid surgery unless all else fails. The vascular surgeon he brought in did a great job and I woke up with immediate relief from 3+ years of leg pain and a back pain that was "hey, something major was done right here" as opposed to my entire back feeling like it was in a vice grip for 3 years. My husband had a spinal fusion and he feels amazing! No pain at all only 8 weeks since surgery. It’s a miracle! Dr. Josey is an amazing doctor and we highly recommend him! 5 star!!!!!

Dr. Josey assessed my sciatica in my left leg, specifically lumbar radiculopathy which gave me intense pain in my left hip and down my leg, made me limp and weakness in that foot. Dr. Josey reviewed my MRI, listened to my complaints, assessed my mobility and pain, then quickly diagnosed me with the cause being a broken off piece of my L4/L5 disc impinging on my nerve root.
