Same experience as the others.
Same experience as other reviewers. Doesn't listen. Prescribed steroids, stating, 'You are going to feel like you can do anything with these!' even though I mentioned they make me feel sick. Sure enough, they made me sick and didn't help, AND I couldn't have the injection I actually needed since I had been on steroids within the last couple of weeks. Also refused to order an MRI for me, despite me explaining my history with my spine. As soon as I was able to get into my spine doctor, MRI ordered and now injection ordered because I have protruding discs pushing on my nerve...which is what my symptoms were screaming. I also don't write reviews but had to Google this guy and say SOMETHING.

Missed broken bones
I was hit by a car and the ER saw on an x-ray that I had a broken clavicle and was unclear if there was broken bones in my ankle, so ordered a CT. CT showed a broken foot and ankle bone. I was told to follow up with orthopedics and when the soonest appointment was four weeks out, was referred to the urgent care by the scheduler, hence seeing Dr. Jones. He reviewed only my foot x-rays, not the CT scan, and then said that I had no broken bones in my foot or ankle, and said no need to consult with a surgeon for either my foot or clavicle, also said I should return to after a week. I had a follow up with him a week later and through the x-rays of my clavicle now showed it as displayed, he still said no need to see a surgeon. I sought a second opinion and was in fact referred to surgery for both my clavicle and broken ankle, which were significantly delayed, resulting in longer time off of work and longer healing time, due to Dr. Jones' recommendation not to meet with a surgeon.

Dr. Jones is rushed and does not listen to his patients concerns. He dismissed the pain I was in and brushed it off as “normal” pain to have when running. As a marathon runner, I know what aches and pains are normal during the course of training and I know when something is wrong.

I was seen several years ago (2015) at Tria Orthopedic and my experiences were very similar to the other one star reviews. I’ve never gone out of my way to review a doctor but if you want a good experience go elsewhere. On top of being misdiagnosed, I was talked over, gaslighted, and always felt like he was aloof and I was bottom priority. The same thing I tried to point out to him as being a probable cause to my pain (that he blew off) helped a different doctor fix me up. It was a few years ago, but the other reviews are recent so clearly he hasn’t changed.

Clearly I and my issue were unimportant to this guy. Upon entering the room he couldn't be bothered to introduce himself. He didn't care if I had any questions as he never asked. When I took it upon myself to ask my questions, he answered them as he stood at the door with his back to me. Even though I had told him that my pain level was at a 10 (out of 10), he prescribed a pain med that I was to start the following morning. Never mind that it was 2 in the afternoon and I had the rest of the day and a full night to get through before I could start that med. Oh, and then tells me that if things aren't better in 7-10 days to come back and see him....LOL, not in this lifetime!

Very Disappointing – May 15, 2020

I would never like to see Dr. Jones again. He was completely disrespectful. He talked over me, answered my questions with one word answers, and didn't ask my permission or give me warning before touching my broken foot to examine it. I waited a long time to see him once I was in the examination room, and once he entered he was in and out in 5 minutes. It was very clear my situation was low in priority to him. It was disrespectful and hurtful.

Dr Jones is an outstanding physician. He is very knowledgeable and thorough. He listens to his patients, is able to identify exactly the pain location and to implement an immediate action plan. He reviews patients allergies and has consistently demonstrated his skill at identifying the exact location of the pain and the right medication to use when injections are required. He ensures imaging is completed promptly before treating the patient & follows up with physical therapy & devices.
