Don’t waste your time coming here. After waiting 3 months to see Dr. Johnson. He has No real concern or compassion towards his patients. You will get better answers on google then asking him. Dr. Johnson spent a total of 5 whole minutes and quickly took off to see the next patient. He didn’t discuss my x-rays or MRI reports. These money hungry doctors can identify who are good candidates for surgery because that’s how they make their money. He suggested pawing me off to pain clinic.

Appointment started 25 minutes late. Medical assistant was rude. Spent 5 minutes or less with a med student and then 3 minutes with the doctor. Somehow this experience took nearly 2 hours! I felt very rushed when interacting with the dr and staff. The dr did not really listen at all. At the end I had a question, the medical assistant acted as though I ruined her day by asking a question. I left feeling very frustrated and with no real solution to better manage my pain.

I was in more pain than I was before I saw him. This doctor did not help my issues. I had to see another surgeon to fix my back.

Dr. Johnson is one of the most caring and easy-going (but DEFINITELY qualified) surgeons, i.e., neurosurgeons, around! I have had 50 years of spine issues and would go to no one else. He has done several surgeries on my spine and the outcomes have been very positive! He takes time with you as a patient in the office--I have never felt rushed! Very qualified and just plain nice. I have been a RN for 35 years and he is my doctor of choice!

Dr Johnson is one of the nicest, caring doctor I see. I knew I had a serious back problem and I would need surgery. He was actually the fourth neurosurgeon I saw. I was so sure that he would be able to help me. I had no confidence in the first 3 doctors so continued to look further. He always spends the time I need to answer questions. He was always available when I suffered an unexpected complication. After 6 back surgeries there is no one else I would let care for my back. He's the best!

Upon consulting with Dr. Johnson at my first appointment for my lower back pain I was very relieved that he suggested no surgery at this time. He was very thorough going over my xrays and showed me the areas that are causing the pain. But for now he recommended some PT to strengthen my core and the lower back area. Looking forward to maybe seeing him next year for an update on my condition.
