Great Doctor
Have been bringing my sister to Dr Imani for many years. He knows meds. Brought my sister out of severe depression, managed her bipolar and paranoid schizophrenia. He is always pleasant, caring and concerned. Thank you Dr Imani . We appreciate you and your staff !

Doctor Great. Staff Horrible.
Dr. Imani is terrific and has helped my dad tremendously. The issue with this practice is with the office manager, Tiffany. She is rude, unknowledgeable, combative, unreliable and has an absolute attitude. Every time I call to make an appointment for my elderly father who suffers from depression, she asks me if I have conservancy and won't make an appointment. And when she said she'd have to talk to the doctor about making an appointment for my dad since he missed the last three, she never got back to me. Didn't even take my name or number until I offered it up. What kind of professionalism is that??? And, all this while my dad was spiraling into a deeper depression.

Office Receptionist
I’ve never experienced so much anxiety, grief and lack of respect from any other medical staff as far as I can remember, up until a year ago. I keep thinking that it’ll get better. There have been numerous occasions where I’ve left messages with no response. I ended up going directly to the office to speak to someone. The office was closed. (Friday) I wrote a note to the Doctor and slipped it under the door. Monday morning I finally got a call back. For some reason or another my message was never relayed. . . AGAIN. I’m extremely happy with Dr. Imani. It’s so disheartening that I’m considering on looking for another Doctor whose staff show you the respect that one deserves. No one should ever have to experience this sort of unprofessional behavior wherever one may be. Thank you for hearing me out. Merry Christmas and a very happy and healthy New Year!

Nice doctor but not helpful
After many years of seeing the doctor, My mom had an emergency need for help due to a severe anxiety episode, including trips to the Emergency room and he was not available. As a daughter it was scary to see. The office staff wouldn’t even give him the message and simply said, “Your appointment is in 2 weeks”. Very frustrating. I called today myself and explained the urgency, and the office staff did agree to give him the message- thank you? She has decided he is too busy to be her doctor.

Go elsewhere if you can
Been seeing this doctor for my son for 5 years now. He diagnosed him with multiple mental issues. When I ask to make adjustments to his meds due to the fact that they aren’t working and also because my 15 year old is the size of a grown man he gives major push back for no other reason than he doesn’t like to put kids on a lot of meds. If he is on the correct meds we wouldn’t still be having issues, is this not what a psychiatrist is for? He gave me push back on getting his diagnosis on paper for his therapist and regarding a recommendation he made. I strongly do not believe he had my child’s best interest at heart but collecting a check. He is also rude at times and condescending. I feel like I wasted 5 years in trying to assist my child with his mental illness which is very frustrating because I feel like I am back at square one. When addressed concerns with him for the last time he said “you will have these problems with him until he’s 18” I’m so mad he’s the only psych in my network

I’be been seeing Dr Imani for so many years. I even had to leave because of insurance and see another Dr. When the chance came to get my PPO back I went back to him. I was all over the place. It takes a while to get things straight but he put in the effort to get me balanced. One thing I will say is that he asks questions, usually the same ones lol but if he notices anything different he inquires. I’ve had a chronic cough and been to many drs for it. He mentioned what it could be and told me that it was probably repairable. I went to a specialist and had an endoscopy done and they found three different problems. I need surgery. I credit Dr Imani for the information and push. Thank you Dr Imani.

So Far, I have visited Dr. Imani's office twice. The First visit was like other people's comments which that he diagnosed you with a Disorder without giving you time to explain yourself. The first visit was very disappointing.

Imani is hands down the worst "doctor" I have ever come across.. He is not only rude, but he led me to answer questions in a way that he wanted me to. Then he got angry when I said I didn't like the way I was feeling on the medication he prescribed to me a month ago. He got angry and said "WHAT DO YOU WANT?" "I'm not giving you medication A or B". I never asked for any specific medication, EVER! I'll write a more detailed review in another platform that doesn't limit characters.
