Dr. Hruby is a very caring thorough doctor. I feel very confident in his abilities.

Dr Hruby did my Emergency surgery he did an Amazing job. I highly recommended him to anyone that is having issues with your gallbladder. Not to mention his staff is Amazing.

Performed my appendectomy, after which I was bedridden for weeks with an infection. Found him indifferent and uncaring. After dismissing my concerns, he finally offered to perform an exploratory surgery to find the problem, but I was reluctant to undergo another procedure with him. I went to another provider who quickly found and fixed my problem.

Dr. Hruby performed umbilical hernia surgery. The whole experience, from my first visit with Dr. Hruby, through surgery and all post op care was outstanding. He answered all my questions and concerns never rushing our visits. He has a caring and professional office staff, and I had no problems scheduling appointments. I highly recommend Dr. Hruby.

My wife needed intestinal surgery. The first two recommended surgeon were booked for many months, so Dr Hruby was recommended. We met with him in his destin office. He came across as arrogant to me. He did the surgery, and said he got it done. I stayed with my wife in the hospital as she has very high anxiety. Right off the bat he denied her anxiety medication. On the 3rd morning he came in to visit with a smile on his face and began berating my wife and threatening to remove all her medication. Said she shouldn’t need anxiety medication and definitely shouldn’t need nausea or pain medication any longer. He also changed the medications she’s been prescribed and has taken at home for years. This man is obviously a good surgeon based on how many years he’s been around however the way he takes to his patients is criminal. I definitely do not recommend him for anything honestly.

Dr. Hruby and his staff are amazing! He did a WLE and SLNB for my diagnosis of melanoma, I couldn’t have asked for a better result or experience.

Mmm why do dome people say he is good and others don't..is he a good doctor period not good to see negative reviews. Period and to have some say ohh he is the best ?? but yet others don't 3.7 doesn't sound like a complete doctor.. inless ur rich. nobody cares how bad they treat you its all about money and how much he can make off of you ..so which is he a good doctor or not????

Dr. Hruby has performed several surgeries for me, some quite detailed. He has always treated me professionally, but also personally. He takes the time I need to answer questions, his office provides follow up called to check on me and his office staff is the best I have ever seen. If anyone in my family needed surgery, his is the doctor I would recommend to them. A plus is an entertaining personality.

Was assigned Dr Hruby through ER for appendicitis. When he realized I wouldn’t be a typical - easy laparoscopic procedure his attitude changed. He was rude, condescending, unprofessional and completely uncaring. I wound up staying in the hospital for 2 nights and 3 days mostly because the nursing staff couldn’t get in touch with him to get me released. When he finally did grace us with his presence he literally stood over me in my hospital bed and argued with my family! I don’t trust him.

Dr Hruby was the surgeon assigned to me when I was admitted to the hospital with a gallbladder attack. I was kept in the hospital for two days with nothing done. I was released to go home and told to follow up with his office. I called the following day and it took them 2 days to call me back to refer me to a doctor that doesn’t do the procedure he wanted me to have done. What a waste of time and money. Very unprofessional! Wouldn’t recommend him to anyone!!!!!!!!

I love this Dr. Had gall bladder removed. After going to twin cities hospital in pain due to gall stones they referred me to him. Was able to get appointment within a week. Staff is friendly, not a long wait. He explains things where you can understand them. After surgery his nurses were calling to check on me, needed a prescription but couldn't get it. So the nurse dropped it off at my pharmacy for me which was an added plus. The care I received from them and sacred heart was awesome.

Very pleased with Dr. Hruby's surgical skill as well as the time spent explaining the situation and the procedure necessary for correction. Friendly personality, and a pleasant staff were appreciated as well. Would absolutely recommend Dr. Hruby to family and friends in need of surgical intervention.

Dr. Hruby removed my appendix on Oct 4, 2016 at Sacred Heart, Emerald Coast. Great personality and I had excellent results. No pain meds after surgery. Went home next day. Just very lucky and blessed to have him care for me. Jim Richardson

Dr. Hruby is so wonderful. I went to see him over some colon issues. He listened to all my concerns and took the action needed. I would and will recommend him to everyone I know in the future. I will say he is the best DR I have ever seen. The staff is very friendly and always understanding.

Dr Hruby removed my gall bladder on 12-22-15. He was funny and informative. I felt very blessed and at ease having him as my surgeon. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
