Terrible experience. After taking my elderly father to 4 visits the so called doctor finally said there wasn’t anything he could do for his rheumatoid arthritis because of his advanced age. He told us to go continue with pain management via his pcp. He could have told us that on the first visit. He didn’t want to treat anything. Just took us and Medicare for a ride. Shameful!

I didn't feel like I was heard by Dr. Howard. He asked me a series of questions to respond "yes" or "no" to. When I would try to give him more context for each question he did not want the extra info. I felt like there was no real information gathered about the issues I was facing, it was all just touched on the surface. It was more whether I fit the boxes he could check off or not. He ended up giving me a diagnosis, but then said the only way he could help me further was to give me harsh meds.

I am a physician and my mom went to see Dr. Howard. He told my mother within 5 minutes of seeing her that she had fibromyalgia which is a diagnosis of exclusion (you can only say someone has this after ruling out all other possible diagnoses). He was not compassionate and had done no work up on her when he told her this. That’s just not good practice. I would not send my own patients to see him and hope he doesn’t approach all of his patients like this. 1/5 stars from most patients though...
