I had a 9 am appt with Dr. Hong on 2.20.25. My appointment with Dr. Hong was fine. It last 6 to 8 minutes which was all that was really necessary as this was a 6 month follow-up, however, I believe the 75 minute wait pass the 9 o’clock appointment time was unacceptable.

Dr Hong takes his time, but often goes off track in conversation. He has a great bed side manner but communication with his nurses, the call center, the scheduler, and office staff is extremely poor. This worsens patient care and damages out patient recovery. I suffered for days because he did not put an order on the chart so I could get the issue fixed. What a disorganized customer service mess in this Practice.

I had surgery,the nurses at the hospital that I had went to was horrible. I was in so much pain and they wasn’t following the dr. Orders concerning my medication time. Dr.Hong comes in my room reviews my chart and tried his best to make the best recommendation for me! He was patient,and attentive. The overnight surgery turned into a whole 11 days, which 8 days was a complete nightmare so much that I had to transfer to another hospital. Dr. Hong wasn’t the that originally doctor that conducted my surgery but I am ever grateful that he walked into my hospital room! I feel like he saved my life-I later found out I had pneumonia! May God continue to bless you Dr. Hong in all the work you continue to do. Your will always be remembered as a blessing to me!!!!

Dr. Hong had an on-time appointment the first time, then everything after that has been a disaster. Not one thing since has been on time and has caused me to cancel multiple post-cancer follow-up appointments because his office is run so terribly. If you have any other option, DO NOT choose Dr. Hong's office.
