Not so great experience with spinal tap
I had a spinal tap performed by Dr. Green on November 19, and it was an extremely painful experience. I received no pain medication or numbing cream. As the needle was inserted, I felt every movement, including the discomfort of the fluid being drawn out. Despite expressing my pain, Dr. Green continued the procedure, mentioning that the needle had bent. As he adjusted it, the pain radiated down my legs and fingertips, moving from left to right, and from my hips to my toes. This experience was far from what I expected from a specialist in spinal procedures. All of this was taken place at SGMC Medical Center.
