Professional, competent, caring doctor with a great bedside manner - explains everything thoroughly. My experience with the entire office from the front desk to the doctor was very positive. If you're looking for a competent Urologist, I highly recommend Dr. G.

Dr Gerstenbluth has been helping me with my recurrent urinary infections and my congenital kidney anomaly for many years. He is very professional and knowledgeable and is always easily accessible by phone.

I opted to get a cystoscopy after having some strange symptoms that persisted for over a month and a bout of dark blood in my urine. I told the Dr. beforehand that I was very nervous and needed him to gently walk me through it/explain the steps as he was doing it. He just jumped right into the procedure, causing me to jump and flinch. His response was “You really need to calm down” instead of rethinking his approach/slowing it down. I think I was written off as a uncooperative patient but I felt highly violated and uncomfortable during the whole thing. At the end of the appointment, I asked if there was any explanation for my persisting symptoms and he told me that it’s all because “you have anxiety.” I truly hope I never have to see this Dr. again. He may however be an okay choice for you if you’re comfortable having a camera shoved up your urethra by a stranger with no bedside manner.

Saw the doc for BPH. After diagnosis he reviewed options and recommended laser surgery. The whole process went exactly as he discussed, including recovery. He and the entire office staff are approachable and professional. A classy practice all around.

AVOID HIM LIKE THE PLAGUE. He performed unnecessary surgery that required further surgery to correct what he did. This caused a major decline in my Quality of Life. I rue the day I ever walked into his office.

Having been a patient of Dr. G's since 2006, I could not recommend a more competent highly-regarded physician. He is not only an excellent urologist but his bedside manner is one most doctors should adhere to. On the contrary, his office staff needs to be schooled in customer service related issues. They oftentimes state that they have left messages on your answering machine reminding you of an appointment and that is clearly untrue. I am very diligent in keeping my appointments and arrive always in a timely manner. I have left several messages for Dr. G regarding medication questions and have never received a call back. I feel this is the fault of the office, and not Dr. G. This office is very unorganized and is not run efficiently. I am sure I am not the only patient of Dr. G's that feels this way. Poorly-run office but in all a great doctor!

I have had Dr. G for a few surgeries for kidney stones. I completely trust him,he gets to the point explains everything. I would and do recommend him to all.

He saved my life twice , can't beat that

I feel dr.gee is a fantastic physician my son is developmentally disabled and he recognized right away that he could not cognitively understand everything that was happening with him he was hospitalized for kidney stones tractor G did a fantastic job communicating with him and explaining to me the procedure was Ashley going to be like he's now had a second kidney stone and dr. G it's very kind compassionate and considerate with him I would recommend him to anybody I don't know what happened with a viewer at said he has no bedside manner I find him very professional and thorough and it is important that when your loved one is sick and hurting that the doctor is professional and thorough and compassionate and I feel that he has all those qualities

This is a vasectomy update re Dr. Gerstenbluth. Two years on, no issues at all. I have friends who had him for the procedure who also had no issues. He is good at doing vasectomies. His assistant in the room is a nice guy.

I went to Dr. Gerstenbluth to have my bladder checked for cancer. He gets right to the point in the exam. He is not a hand holder, but that is OK with me. The procedure was quick.. I think he did a thorough job, but I haven't received a report as of yet, so I don't know for sure..
