Dr. Frey is great. Front office staff is horrible.
The front office staff refuses to answer any phone calls, or return left voicemails. When I finally did get a hold of somebody and I asked why it was so hard to contact them, She said it’s because they’re so busy and there’s only two of them. This is interesting to me, considering that the two times I’ve been there. I watch the front office, staff giggling and conversing about irrelevant things while I wait for them to acknowledge my presence,. Also, I hear the phone ringing, but they both ignore it They have Holier Then thou attitudes and extremely poor Customer Service. This cannot possibly be good for the doctors that work there. If I were in charge of that office, I would fire both of them on the spot.

Knowledgeable. Great bedside manner.
I have chronic back pain. Disabling at times. Dr. Frey listened to me, prescribed an epidural injection, and flawlessly performed the injection at a surgery clinic. I highly recommend Dr. Frey. He made a big difference in my quality of life.

Resourceful…..
I have been a chronic pain patient for over ten years. I’ve seen a lot of specialists….. Before I came to Dr Frey, I had gone through epidural injections, nerve burns…. You name it. Nothing worked for over a month. So Dr Frey put together plans and if they didn’t work… we cheerfully moved on….. Plus, he was always encouraging us to try to remain as active as possible whether it be paddle boarding, dog walking… you name it.. he was our cheerleader. He was able to work with my insurance company to get me into the spinal chord stimulator program and I am able to get some help there…. Yay! He has been great.. !!! He is personable.. encouraging…full of ideas…. Willing to seek out of the box solutions ….and a nice man. As to his office people… they are spread thin at times… which can be frustrating .. especially when the DEA makes it hard for us to get the meds prescribed..They do their jobs well…. Are resourceful, They care…..And are a great part of the team … Allison

Highly recommend
I’ve neglected to post this review for too long. Dr. Frey is amazing! He’s very honest and upfront with his approach to management of chronic pain. I find that refreshing vs just writing prescriptions.

I was a patient of Dr. Frey‘s, and I moved out of state. I’ve been trying and trying to find a doctor here locally even within an hour and a half from me, and I so wish that Dr. Frey was here. He has always been wonderful to me, very helpful very understanding and just absolute pleasure to be around. I don’t understand the person who said he’s arrogant and doesn’t care about you, I can only assume they were drug seeking And Dr. Frey is no fool.

Dr Frey was wonderful! His staff and his billing department were very helpful since I have become a patient in Jan 2019. He listens and doesn't just "push drugs". I saw two negative reviews on here and my thought is that they were looking for medications and since Dr Frey cares, he tries to limit the necessity for drugs. I can actually walk without pain again. I cannot say enough great stuff about him. Then, my insurance Blue Shield raised my deductible. The billing staff was great with setting up payments. I have had no issues and never feel rushed.

I needed a new pain management doctor and a girl I work with mentioned she went to grade school with Dr Frey. I made an appointment and hoped for the best. I have had chronic pain for over 20 years and basically knew what medications I needed to get through the day. Dr Frey would have none of it. He insisted I ween off everything I had and to do it quickly. He wrote an Rx for the exact amount of medication he would allow and expected me to take less than half of my usual dose. Not for me.

Dr. Frey is easy to talk to and very attentive. I think he is a wonderful pain doctor. I have had a couple of joint injections which helped relieve my pain immensely! His office is always upbeat even when they are really busy. I never have to wait very long which is a nice bonus!

I went to Dr. Frey for my chronic low back pain. He did a thorough examination and started with the least invasive procedure first, which for me was an epidural steroid injection. So far the results have been great. I only wish I had seen him sooner. He has a tremendous bedside manner, seems to really understand all the therapy options and how to pursue treatment, and seems to have genuine interest in my improvement as a patient. I would recommend Dr Frey to anyone suffering from chronic pain.

Dr Frey is very arrogant and does not listen or care about his patients. He can be downright cruel sometimes and is so scared of the DEA that he makes everyone out to be a drug seeker. He is extremely unhelpful and unprofessional. I don't recommend him if you're suffering from chronic pain and need more than just ibuprofen and some exercise.i was surprised to see any good reviews at all for him. As for the staff, Kim is the only bad one who works at the front desk. She quite an angry woman.
