The only option I received from Dr. Ferrigni was to do surgery and cut. Fortunately, I obtained information that there were other alternatives for me that I did elect to do and it did not involve cutting. For me, this was the answer! It seems that Mayo is a little behind the times for other methods of treating the prostate.

Great doctor! Great surgeon! Great soul! He understands the anxiety of a post cancer surgery and always takes the time to come in and get right to the point. Allowed us to keep him as our post follow up doctor and he’s just great at what he does. Would highly recommend him

I’m changing my evaluation to an excellent. I changed my mind because Dr. Ferrigni called me to discuss the procedure I had and the pain I encountered. Thank you Dr. Ferrigni for calling me and discussing my procedure. If anyone has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, Mayo Clinic Phoenix is the place to go.

If you have prostate cancer and have surgery, make sure it is Dr. Ferrigni. He is thorough, no-nonsense and an exceptional surgeon. I had surgery for prostate cancer in December, 2016 and cannot imagine having had a better doctor.

My surgery required some extra preparation on their behalf, but Dr. F. told me ahead of time what to expect, his judgment was very accurate. He listens, and gives sound answers to your questions.

Dr F was very helpful and knowledgeable. I was looking for a second opinion when I first met Dr F and ended up selecting him to do by surgery. He was friendly, explained everything in detail and made me feel comfortable with his experience and skills.
