He is the only Endocrinologist in the area, so everyone is referred to him. He is rude and talks down to people. He told me to take off my "expensive" shoes so that he could check my feet. I don't think he would talk to men that way.

I read all of the negative reviews about Robert Ferraro and against my better judgement I decided to keep my appointment. I quickly learned, within 1 minute of sitting down, that I had made a bad decision. When I told him what my chief complaints were and why I was referred to his office (Hashimoto's), he immediately told me I was not feeling bad due to the above diagnosis, it was because, "of my life, and life choices". Keep in mind this man had not asked me anything about my life and has no id

I tried today to schedule an appointment with Dr. Ferraro and twice the phone rang for over 2 minutes and then gave a busy signal. There was no voice mail to leave a message. I understand they can be busy but what about having a message program??

Dr Ferraro and his staff are very rude and out and out mean. They through my friend out of their office for not having her paperwork--BUT THEN--they did have it. I will tell everyone i know not to go to him for any reason. There is no excuse for this kind of behavior from anyone.

You sign up for a web based site - yet they do not read or respond to emails. Difficult to get into, staff unfriendly and they use blaming verbiage when speaking to you, and have no consideration for your time.

Dr Ferraro is great. But don't ask his nurses to help with insurance or trying to get paperwork you need for approvals. They are so slow getting back to you! Ridiculous that the one paper I need written still hasn't been done and it's been two weeks!

Dr. Ferraro takes time to actually talk to me, he listens to my concerns and acts promptly on paperwork for justifications required by my insurance for my medication. I do a lot of my own research online regarding my medical issue and I take copies of the research to discuss with him and he is very open to this. He is knowledgeable and receptive to my suggestions and concerns.
