Cold hard man
Hard to interact with. Walks into patients rooms and gone in a couple of minutes. Doesn't give patient time to ask questions. He says he's busy and acts like he doesn't have time for you.,Ignores even doing epidural shots

Dr. Deters is awesome. Really helpful and has the perfect balance of being not to aggressive and not to conservative in his approach. Listens to his patients and really cares about finding approaches that address the pain while keeping the overall well being of the patient into account. Would recommend to anybody and everybody.

Dr. Deters has absolutely no bedside manner and seems like a miserable person. He did not listen to me and was backing out the door the entire time I was talking. He was like this at two separate appointments. I’m going to find a different doctor.

It was an absolute waste of time. It was my first appointment and he was very dismissive and had his mind made up before he even can into the room. He didnt even have a real conversation with me. I told him were he was causing pain during the 2 minutes exam. He cause so much pain I was in tear and proceeded to push and poke me in the same spot and left the room. Very experience will never recomend.

This was my 3rd appointment and after the first two fiasco's, I decided to time him. No exaggeration, 47 seconds. He spent 47 seconds in the room with me and did absolutely nothing. No exam, never asked a single question, and his behavior was appalling. I'm a very easy going, friendly person. It takes a lot for me to go online specifically to give someone a bad rating. I wouldn't send my dog to this man. He's that bad. I guess my issue wasn't bad enough to warrant his attention.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Deters?
When I called for the appointment I specifically informed them that I needed a pain specialist to manage my medications. I first noticed that there were dead bugs all in the lights in the ceiling and the walls were filthy. The doctor came in and stated that he was sorry I wasted my time coming in because he could not do a thing for me. He stated he was affiliated with the spine institute and that he was not set up for lab work. I called the spine institute and they never heard of him.
